A New Lead
The date on the graph under the first column is the 11th of Sepetember
The video "House Arrest" filmed on the 13th of September is the first video where we notice Bree has a bandage on the arm.
Taylor also appeared to write on the graph. It is thought to say
W.F. = wyman foundation
barcode = wyman foundation
The graph comes with no units or labels. However we are guessing that it is showing Bree's ribozyme levels and the units are pg/ml, like in Jules medical records.
Can you figure out the Barcode???

So, Bree's back with The Order. I spent the last couple days looking at the medical sheets that Daniel sent me, and I think I've found something. - Taylor Faction: THE RESISTANCE
Note: fans have compared the bar code to the 1980s movie puzzle
Of the barcodes shown in the video, two books with ISBN numbers are shown. The blue book has ISBN 0-7894-3557-8, which turns out to be the DK Illustrated Oxford American Dictionary. The grey book has ISBN 0-385-49872-1, which turns out to be Survivor: A Novel by Chuck Palahniuk (author of Fight Club). Excerpt from the Publishers Weekly description on Amazon.com:
The rise and fall of a media-made messiah is the subject of Palahniuk's impressive second novel (after the well-received Fight Club), a wryly mannered commentary on the excesses of pop culture that tracks the 15 minutes of fame of the lone living member of a suicide cult. Tender Branson, aged 33, has commandeered a Boeing 747, emptied of passengers, in order to tell his story to the "black box" while flying randomly until the plane runs out of gas and crashes. Branson relates in his long flashback the vicissitudes of his life: a member of the repressive Creedish Death Cult, supposedly founded by a splinter group of Millerites in 1860, he is hired out as a domestic servant who must dedicate his earnings to the cult.

ReplyDeleteseems odd. A real foundation as described on their home page would have some _links_ on their site...
oh, and check the shape of their logo...
ReplyDeleteNice research Steve and meeper anon!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteDon't know about the bar code yet, but did you notice how many numbers are mentioned in the Foundation's home page text? Could be something.
ReplyDeleteI found a document that gives the full Kix-Barcodes for 0-9, A-Z (see image added to article including URL for .pdf document)
ReplyDeleteUsing this to decode the barcode snapshot from the video, it appears that when rotated 90 degrees clockwise, the video image is identical to the last sample barcode from: http://www.neodynamic.com/barcodes/Royal_TPG_Post_KIX_4_State_Barcode.aspx
... so it appears they did not actually encode anything in the barcode and we are to assume Taylor's decoding is 'correct' within the story.
I added some information about the barcodes in the video that are from books (found by looking for the ISBN numbers on Amazon.com)
