Quality Equals Survival -Victor, O.o.D.
On the morning of June 26th, a motorcade carrying Papess Erica the First of the Order of Denderah was attacked by a known faction of the resistance. The assailants fired three rocket propelled grenades and armor piercing rounds at the motorcade. Two support vehicles and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class carrying Papess Erica were stuck by the rocket propelled grenades. Fatalities occurred in all three vehicles. A total of seven members of the O.o.D. were killed in the attack. During the attack the front right passenger door of Papess Erica’s Mercedes-Benz S-Class received a direct hit from one rocket propelled grenade; in addition the car was stuck by over one hundred rounds of amour piercing small arms fire. Survivors were treated by O.o.D. physicians at a secure facility within the Place des Vosges located in le Marais section of Paris.
The assailants have been identified but have not been apprehended.
The K.T. faction of the O.o.D. has received sealed orders which authorize it to deal directly with all future threats from any group or individual. The new authorizations granted to the K.T. are far reaching and can only be retracted via an ex cathedra order from the Throne of Illumination. All members of the O.o.D. and the H.o.O. are obligated to offer aid and assistance to the K.T. during this time of war. Any and all information regarding the resistance is to be reported to the K.T. headquarters in New York City.

Knights Templar?
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting the after the attack they went to "the Place des Vosges located in le Marais section of Paris". This is what wiki says about le Marais:
ReplyDeleteIn the 12th century, the Knights Templar cleared the marshlands to the north of Philippe Auguste's enclosure. From the 16th century onwards, the aristocracy built large residences in the area, a trend which was accelerated by the creation of the Place Royale (which would become the Place des Vosges) by Henri IV in 1605.
S-Guard
ReplyDeleteA special armored version of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been produced, known as the S-Guard. This model is specifically designed for high-risk security environments. Customers which may require such a vehicle include diplomats and celebrities. Special features of the latest model, produced in 2006, include the capability to withstand military-grade small arms fire and certain explosive devices, a self-sealing fuel tank, and a special alarm system.
The S-Guard is widely used at the diplomatic level to protect world leaders. Ninety governments worldwide are known to use the S-Guard for transport of government leaders and dignitaries.
Commercial buyers may opt for the High-Protection S-Guard, with the ability to withstand small arms fire; for those at risk of assassination and terrorist attacks, the Highest-Protection Guard model is designed to withstand military rifles and high-velocity ammunition. The S-Guard is built on a special production line at the S-Class facility in Sindelfingen, Germany, with specific S-Guard enhancements integrated at multiple stages throughout the production process.
