Didn't they say in an interview once that they didn't even know what an ARG was when they started LG15.
ReplyDeletethey did joe. they've said that numerous times.
ReplyDeleteThanks Milowent I knew I've heard them say in the past that they didn't know what an ARG was.
ReplyDeleteIf I recall correctly, they actually said (at the ARGfest anyway) was that they didn't know that what they were doing was *called* an ARG.
ReplyDeletehehe, strike the "was" in the previous comment. I haven't had my coffee yet. ;)
ReplyDeleteThere were no "real" ARG elements until CiW reared her head.
ReplyDeleteThat leads one to a big Hhhhmmmmm if they planned this to be an ARG from the beginning (which I think is just plain c-speak BS).
Perhaps Greg is stretching the early idea of it being seen as "real" by an audience and/or characters interacting with the audience into "ARG."
ReplyDeleteRome is burning...
ReplyDelete-The color scheme of the lg15 side of the site is a mess.
-Vid responses don't work.
- There's been no character interactivity for weeks.
- There is no chat.

Hey guys,
ReplyDeleteThey quoted me out of context. I said that in the beginning, lonelygirl15 had lots of mysterious elements - home schooled, crowley picture, mysterious religion. I was basically saying that it wasn't simply a show about a girl in her room talking about boyfriend problems. I then went on to say that it has ARG elements. I think they conflated my two statements into one. I definitely did not know what an ARG was before we started and we adopted the puzzle/game playing elements after we learned about them from the fans.
