Kate in the UK

Whats the British take on KateModern? How is Bebo working as a genre? As the Creators target audience is the UK this time around I asked a few British fans about what they thought of the unfolding drama on Bebo...

Zibby: I'm really enjoying KateModern so far, I think it does have a much more British feel about it that the Americans might not understand straight off. I'll agree with some of the comments I've seen that it was a bit slow getting started but in the bigger picture I think that has helped work up the hype about it. I like the fact that everyone can get much more involved with this than they could on LG15 by being able to write comments to each other, however it can make it a bit hard to follow their comments to each other with so many other comments being sent, (but thats why the forums are there lol)I really do hope this doesn't become a full on relationship issues show as I think that will start to annoy people after awhile, they need to keep adding regular plot twists and keep it fresh and moving, not drag things out for weeks at a time. It would also be nice to see more from the other 3 in response to Kate's videos

SarahoftheDead: Um, well, so far, I'm quite hopeful. I like her, I'm happy with her accent and all; there's not really much of a story yet, so I'm withholding judgement. I've started to lose interest in LG15 lately, so maybe Kate will re-ignite that interest. The newest video is pretty creepy-looking, which is also good; I miss OpAphid a ridiculous amount. *Sarah was commenting on Kates dream video, and not the latest one with Tariq and the pigeon poo! Mind you pigeon poo is rather scary too!*

ChrisZ:The effects and atmosphear of those dream/art videos is amazing and very different to lg. It also seems to have alot more energy i can enjoy the Kate videos i see where as lgs you just watch and go back to your daily lives.The other good point I've liked is the interaction. All the ic chat over comments and the like seems like we can dig in and extract more information before the next video about them. (Because right now we barely know anything about them or what is going to happen.) We also seem to be getting shout outs for our high interactions.
