Brad Maule on Wikipedia.
From Wikipedia:
Brad Maule (born October 11, 1951) is an American actor best known for his longtime role as Dr. Tony Jones on the American television serial General Hospital, which he played until February 2006.
I thought the "Dad" actor gave a really good performance in this video ... the lighting looks great as always, and I really like the stark realistic tone.
ReplyDeleteOne technical complaint: the audio levels for Clara drop way down relative to Gregory, making it hard to hear what she is saying while keeping the volume comfortable for his speech.
Well, he is a pro after all. :-)

He was wearing a lavalier mic. She was not. Hence the audio levels were realistic for what was supposed to be going on. Yea I agree its hard to hear but in reality that is approximately what you would get in a real situation like this.
ReplyDeleteThis made me cry, for realzies.
ReplyDeleteThis is a pretty significant crossover. I've seen him as Dr. Tony Jones and I know just recently he played a dad/(janitor) on some show... I'm just trying to figure out why he's in this production... connections? Or is this the beginning of a bigger merge between hollywood and our web productions? uh oh maybe...
ReplyDeletegreat vid. :-) keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteI love Brad Maule!! Been a GH fan for 25 years (I'm 35 -- not completely ancient). Dr. Tony Jones was always one of my favorites! Brad Maule is an excellent actor and totally underrated. Very glad to see him again!
ReplyDeleteBrad Maule graduated from Maddy's school and is currently an adjunct professor there. Jeromy lives in Nadadoches (sp?) and would have access to him in that capacity.
ReplyDeleteThe actors who played Maddison and Adam were classmates in (I think acting class) at SFA. With the use of W. Ascott (Clara's advisor), and now Brad Maule, it looks like Jeromy has obtained significant SFA participation - it will be interesting to learn more about this behind the scenes arrangement later...
