the store I mentioned in the video is Micro Center located in NY- I brought it to the store on July 5th b/c I was running around for the 777 gathering and I had no free time. i was assured that the problem could be fixed at the store- but I was wrong-
MICRO CENTER is just at fault as Apple. The manager at Micro center lied to be on numerous occasions, for instance he told me he had no way of contacting apple to find out where my computer is.
Micro center needs a lesson in customer support as well-

ReplyDeleteIt sounds like Micro center's incompetence is to blame, not Apple. Write a letter (not email--send it certified snail mail, signature required) to the store demanding your computer back, CC'd to an attorney, Apple, and the Attorney General of NY (the AG has the power to shut businesses down, so that will get Micro center's attention.) Make sure to send the letter to the store's owner, and include photocopies of all paperwork with all copies of your letter.
Good luck! (I used to handle consumer complaints against retailers for a living. Believe me, this is effective!)
