    The song at 1:06 sounds like "She's Crafty" by the Beastie Boys. It is a tiny guitar riff, and it sounds just like it. You can go to iTunes, look up Beastie Boys, go to the License to Ill album and here it in the 30 second clip. I could be wrong but I'm pretty certain that is it.

    maybe someone can isolate the songs that are missing so we can just hear those?

    Whenever I try listening for the unidentified songs to start I recognize a song I do know and realize I was much further down the list than I thought. I just can't find my place!

    I have a music editing program, and I'm trying to isolate the clips and remove some vocals to be able to hear the songs more properly. I'll see if I can possibly give links the isolated clips if I get them done.

    I don't know if this is still of any use, but I think I've isolated the missing clips. They're all in one file and there is a 5 second interval in between each one. The first one starts after 5 seconds.

    Just curious, what's the next step after identifying the songs? I know the first mashup led to a tiny url, but any clues yet as to what this one is hinting towards?

    I dont think they have decided how to approach the actual puzzle. The consensus seems to be that they need ALL the songs identified before they begin the solution. But its a good and important qestion to be asking.

    If it has been confirmed that there are 46 songs...why are 47 songs listed? I notice 7 is blank...is there a reason for that? Just making sure I'm not missing something.

    The numbers refer to clips that were created by disecting the mashup.

    We know there are 46 songs, but creating the exact clips is difficult, so consider these 47 clips as approximations.

    Blands are song that have not been identified.

    In the lyrics to the song "Call It What You Want" TuPac says the line: "Now I clown around when I hang around with the Underground." But he also says the exact same line in "Same Song" which he recoreded with Digital Underground ("Now I clown around when I hang around with the Underground") The song in the mash up is definitely the Digital Underground version. Following that part is the guitar riff that comes from "She's Crafty." Maybe this is where some of the confusion is coming in on this part of the mash up because the lyrics are the same. Just some food for thought.
