Does anyone else think that the Maddison Atkins team is starting to take what everyone loved about lg15 and put it in their series, at the same time that the lg15 team is neglecting these things? Perfect Storm? We'll see.
I love maddison atkins, it moves quickly, it's exciting interactive and fun. I would take MA over LG any day, sadly

ReplyDeletewhat are those years next to the song titles? If they're supposed to be when the songs came out, some are wrong. Hair was like early 70's I think. American Pie was either 70 or 71. Ramones was 1980. Metallica & Bryan Adams were both 84. FNM was 89 not 99. And I think the Get Up Kids was 99. That's off the top of my head. I'm positive on Ramones, Metallica, Bryan Adams & FNM. I'm too lazy to look up the rest.

While I am rapidly losing faith in them, and the return of OpAphid was close to a death blow, 12in12 was phenomonal (except the actual ceremony), so I'm not gonna leave yet. I hold out hope for it coming out good. No way I will leave Op though, no matter how good lg gets, Im with ma and op too
ReplyDeleteM POSTING THIS TO REMIND THE FANS WHO HAVE BEEN HERE A LONG TIME, TO MAYBE TRY AND EXPLAIN TO THE NEWER PEOPLE THAT THE REASONS FOR OPAPHID NOT BEING AN OFFICIAL PART OF THE STORY ANY MORE IS NOT ANY FAULT OF THE CREATORS.
ReplyDeleteTHERE ARE TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY. THE CREATORS HAVE A HUGE RESPONSIBILITY THAT GOES WAY BEYOND GOOD STORY TELLING NOW.
AND THERE IS A DIFFERENT SET OF CREATORS BEHIND EVERY SHOW / ARG.
THAT'S UNFAIR TO BLAME LG15 CREATORS FOR EVERYTHING.
The current boring lg15 storyline is very much the creators' fault. They are talented enough to right the ship, but they have not yet, and that is their fault.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, Opaphid and Tachyon no longer being a part of lg15 made a lot of fans upset. This is why there has been this joy over seing them in the maddison atkins series. Even if you do not blame the lg15 team for this, you have to blame them for not filling that void.
LG15 is still a good show, and I think they will eventually get away from this boring stuff and get exciting again. But right now, maddison atkins rules.
One more point, most of the people that are saying that the storyline has gotten stale or that it is boring are fans that have been here a while, so they know what it used to be. Calling those that are complaining "newbies" is insulting. We say these things because we want lg15 to get better. I want to see both lg15 and maddison atkins do well. It is not like there is some kind of competition.

ReplyDeleteI know people close to this issue on both sides, and if the real story ever came out, The Creators would look like major fools for how they handled things from the get-go.
The Creators lied to their audience, and used the month after that original non-incident to attempt to shanghai the rights to many things they did not own. The Creators never "investigated" anything. A dozen or so people in the know got in touch with them, and they were ignored because the Creators had already painted themselves into a corner at that point (never mind the fact that we were telling the truth, and there was no reason to get rid of Glen).
So it's probably best for everyone to let the past stay in the past, and focus on the future of two unique and separate series.
