WHO WAS FRANK?

As part of our retrospective look back at the strange Cassie events of September/October 2006 we have to ask the question "Who was Frank?" According to LGPedia: Blogspot Frank was the first Frank to show within the Breeniverse and is more than likely the direct or indirect source and inspiration for all of the other "Franks". Frank was first alluded to by Cassie on her YouTube Channel page with the phrase "Frank is Waking". Eventually someone found a blog that had a lot of similarities with things that were transpiring in the Cassieiswatching story. Soon this Frank's blog comments were flooded with CiW followers. Many of these posters were exceptionally abusive and there was concern that if this really were some poor schizophrenic guy with a blog he could be pushed over the edge. These fears were alleviated when a code was found in the first letters of the lines of the blog.

It has even been wondered if Daniel mistook Azusa to mean Arizona, USA in his video Aleister Crowley where he relates some nefarious activity surrounding the infamous occultist took place. It seems that little Azusa is often mentioned in the same breath with Satanic Ritual Abuse, something which fed greatly wild speculation among Lonelygirl15 fans that the swimming hole would be the site of the ceremony.

I could be wrong here and Im too lazy to figure out how to go back and check, but thats not how I remember it going down. I thought the first mention was somthing about "Frank has been more help than you"... speculation followed about who the hell is frank and then the blog was discovered. The story then goes that Cassie has possessed Frank (?) and he was the one who made th CiW vids (he admitted that it was in his capability- he was a video editor) It wasn't until much later that "Frank is waking" went down. (At least thats how it happened in my head?) Oh how I miss Frank and Cassie.

Frank has been more helpt han you was certainly the key to thje introduction of Frank in the Cassie is Watching "game. However the discovery of the blog was triggered by a puzzle of 6 inverted images.
ReplyDeleteReally I think the people who are writing these articles should consider actually discussing the details with the people who played the game so that thier facts can be verified.
The puzzle with the 6 inverted images, included a picture of a Cardinal, The upside screenshot of "A Voice Within", A Chalice from a painting used in the puzzle, a frame from a mirror, the image of a crowning birth and tbh I cant remember the 6th Image.
Each of these inverted images had a paragraph anagram of who, where, what, why, when and How.
The "how" Anagram was overlayed on the screenshot of the blog, and when decoded, translated to:
"Tell me tell me tell me the answer, While you beg it grows like cancer, You're the one with every clue, But Frank has been more help than you, Eleven Days until my fate, Serapis codes, Hi Novice, Wait."
Please at least do us all the courtesy of actually "asking" us, the players, the "cassieheads" or as hyemew has coined us, the "cassholes" if you want the real facts of this game and its characters.
chixor1, that's kinda the point of this post. we're trying to clarify the details. if you read the article in full.. the details were taken from lgpedia and we asked for anyone who does know about those times and followed it to speak out about it. We'd like the know.
ReplyDeleteIf the details on lgpedia are incorrect, then go to the lgpedia and please correct them! I thought that might be obvious.
Shame you felt so strongly that modelmotion was just posting random things when infact she and many of us were merely doing exactly what you're complaining about.
This is how we found out about Frank :) :
ReplyDeleteCiW posted the Revelations 1 video, in which the caption was "Frank is waiting" (this was later changed to "Frank is waking" a bit further into the game). The video showed a bible with the pages flipping around wildly, at it was discovered that the sounds in the video were morse code, which gave us the address of the blog. I don't believe it included "blogspot.com" in it, though. (This was long before FrankIsWaking began posting videos on YouTube. That was completely different).
Then, CiW posted the clue that Chixor referred to, and by looking at the inverted image of the blog, we learned it was a Blogger account. When then looked on Blogger for the blog address we got from the video, and alas, Frank's blog appears.
There were 2 clues on the blog to show us it was in-game: "Codes Into Serapis" being spelled out with the first letter of each line in the first blog post, and "Hear Wise" in the footer, which is an anagram for "I was here"... as Cassie said in her first video.
In addition to the references Chixor talked about, one of the other anagrammed lines in the poem clue was "Cassie prosed A Voice Within."
