I like the story, but the voice of Juanita sounded really silly to me - was that Yousef?

ReplyDeleteoh, i loved the direction of this vid, and i loved jennie's acting, and i even loved yousef's little spanish lady voice, but it pains me that jennie was being called "assassino" because she is a woman and would've been called "assassina." maybe juanita was referring to the project, which is el proyecto, which is masculine, so that could be called un assassino. but dammit guys, can't you do a tiny bit more work when you're using foreign languages? especially ones so incredibly well-known and familiar as spanish? maybe this is a south-texan who is biased but still they could've done more than insert "murderer" in an online translator and get "assassino" and be done with it. what about la resisto, with the portuguese and stuff? i mean i don't even know, maybe that was inaccurate too. this post is way too long. blame it on the creators and their repeated failures with espanol.
