Coffee with Gregory Atkins - Marla (RE88)



I'm sorry, but this is long. I kept in every moment I could. Well, he's to-the-point, and I think the video speaks for itself better than I could describe here.

    well I like him for calling Marla out on her being pretty evasive with the answers. I mean I dunno, I thought of marla as more of a people person who would be far more comfortable as a liason between everyone.

    Secondly, I'd want to make sure that clara isn't missing.

    I was also a bit surprised about how awkward the conversation was. While I admire what Marla is doing in Texas, I wish/hope she will cut Mr. Atkins some slack. He deserves answers more than any of the rest of us. And he deserves someone to be totally honest with him.

    Wow... that was really uncomfertable. But, I think that it is a testament to how good of an actor he is.

    It was an awkward conversation, but he is a man dealing with the loss of his child and the subsequent loss of his wife, in ways we can't begin to understand. It appears that he is her primary caregiver, and she is at a point where she needs constant care, so instead of being able to progress in his grief, he is halted by these other goings on. Not to mention he doesn't really grasp how we can be friends on the internet, so some of his discomfort may be a generational issue.
