BREAKING NEWS!!: LONELYGIRL15 -- STARRING JESSICA ROSE -- HEADED TO TV; CREATORS, AOL & ABC TO LAUNCH NEW ONLINE CHANNEL

According to an article posted on Anchor Cove, the Creators have just signed a deal with ABC and AOL to air lonelygirl15 exclusively on a new internet channel called EQAL. The show will star Jessica Lee Rose, who is set to reprise her role as Bree, and Zac Efron as Daniel. It will consist of thirty-minute long episodes with Bree vlogging in her bedroom, much like the earliest lonelygirl15 videos.
The show is set to feature a larger cast than the online version and will feature music from many top-label musical artists. Bree's parents, for instance, will be featured much more heavily in the television version, with Bree's dad set to be played by David Hasselhoff. Due to copyright issues related to the original stuffed "P. Monkey" puppet, Bree's purple friend will be played by a live monkey, who will also be "a wiz at fighting the Order."

    no, really EQAL is coming - i have spoken to VC people about it. they are questioning why AOL would pour money into an unproven business model, not that that has ever stopped AOL.

    Yea, I was surprised to see the AOL - ABC connection. That is huge. Now the Bebo deal makes total sense. Well as much sense as AOL has ever made.

    KILL IT WITH FIRE! Thank God this it's April 1st, if this had happened any other day, I doubt Zac Effron would even make it to the set, due to huge throngs of rabid LG15 fans.
