Crystal Young is the actress who plays the role of Gina in the lonelygirl15 web series. She is of Native American/Australian descent and modelled professionally before becoming involved with lonelygirl15.
Crystal's father works in construction, and ever since she was a little girl, she would go to her dad's job sites and help out. Although she admits she probably wasn't much help at a young age, her father always gave her a hammer or something to work with, and she developed a really strong appreciation for building things. From 2005 to 2007, Crystal's main job was working construction. She was able to show off her woodworking skills in the video Playing With Wood.

That amazes me because she hammers like a girl. I've been on house building sites, it's early my vocab isn't the greatest. I've built houses and hammering like she was hammering, she wouldn't have lasted five minutes on a site. Seriously I thought I knew how to hammer when I went on my first job but I quickly learned umm no I didn't. You hammer from your bicep not your forearm like she was doing in Working with Wood. I would think that someone who grew up on construction site and actually helped would know better.
