Almost Famous
By Glenn Rubenstein

"Next thing I know, former MTV VJ Matt Pinfield was on my doorstep, and my band was whisked to Southern California to tape a performance on the debut episode of Farmclub.com, which also featured Dr. Dre, Eminem and 98 Degrees."

  4. i have a vague memory of actually listening to a few headboard songs at mp3.com back during that site's heyday (1999-2000 i think). i was never a rap-rock kinda guy, but i can vouch that they seemed to be pretty popular.

  5. great article brought back some og my memories back when I was on mp3.com as an artist..it sure was awesome back then and at the time was definitely revolutionary. I remember getting my first paycheck from them...I couldn't believe it. I found this article to be relatable and informative and it brought back some good memories of the old days. Thanks for posting it mmbot!
