Streaming web video is great and all, but every once in a while you find something that you just want to save and cherish for always.

    We have some download tools listed in the "tools" menu if you scroll down the right hand side but your opinion well help us add others that you think would be useful.

    I usually copy .flv files from my browser cache (you can view them directly with a .flv player)

    I have found version 1.40 of this program useful for converting .flv to other formats (such as .avi) for use in video editing (such as Windows Movie Maker)

    This program also does downloading.

    I haven't tried the latest version.

    I find orbit downloader is good for grabbing video off of bebo.
    For youtube i use the videodownloader extension for firefox.
