EQAL Blog: "KateModern, CBS, and LG15"

    very interesting cloud. it sounds like the EQAL deal and the CNET deal are part of a broad CBS strategy to deal with the internet.

    The emphasis that telling a story with a beginning, middle, and end makes for a compelling narrative makes sense ... perhaps the Creators came to this realization with the difficulty of keeping the lonelygirl15 story exciting and open-ended. At one point, they posted on the forums that the lonelygirl15 story will never end. I wonder if that will be rethought as this new enterprise goes forward?...

    dun dun dun ... the end of lonelygirl15 at some point?

    It made sense for LOST and now KM, so maybe it will make sense for lonelygirl15. A final finale.

    I added an RSS feed for EQAL, Inc. to the right hand side... (it's 5 items currently, but we may want to reduce that as was done for Inside LG15).

    i dunno, maybe you are right. coming on the heels of claiming that KM logically had a beginning, a middle, and an end, presumably so does lg15.

    Qtec, in my opinion KM was good for 5 seasons.

    The story just has not run it course.

    Model is correct. We're hearing a lot of different stories on why KateModern is ending.
    1. The story took its course and was told.
    2. Bebo pulled the plug.
    3. Not enough money.
    etc. ad infinitum

    KateModern isn't even a year old!!!
