What is fighttheorder.com ?
I read the recent Eqal blog where they said things in store for LG15 is "new site, new show, favorite characters" right after reading how KM was to have a beginning, middle and end as a proper way to do a narrative.
I'll be honest, since the KM announcement I have been concerned that LG15 might be next. So I thought to myself "new show, new site, favorite characters" and I have been noticing the Fight The Order movement that has been going on.
SO I thought about it and looked up: http://www.fighttheorder.com
the domain info... http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/results.jsp?domain=fighttheorder.com
...points to Domains By Proxy Inc, the same company the C's used to register domains for their other sites.
Coincidence?? Tell us your thoughts!
Very interesting.
ReplyDeleteI really really really hope this is not the end of Lonelygirl15.
I still need to know about the scar on her back!!!!!
Probably not the end, but more of a re-focus.
ReplyDeleteI don't think they will EVER be able to wrap up all the Pink Herrings and Plot Holes Modelmotion, even if the show goes on another five years or so.
ReplyDeleteI just hope that this kind of "narrative technique" (major sarcasm) is not going to be the standard procedure for future productions.
In many ways I wish they would stop this thing and start afresh, hopefully learning from all the mistakes they have made.
I thought they had learned how to do puzzles well and then they had to step in with a sockpuppet and "solve" this latest one.
I'm still not so sure that they should dump the "LG15" brand name though, as they are still riding the coattails of those few months that generated them so much buzz. Of note, they are still featuring JR in their EQAL promo vid. How they let her get away, I'll never understand...
registered 1-26-07, so this was scooped up long ago.
ReplyDeleteI don't know. But I've had a bad feeling about this whole ordeal since the announcement of Eqal. It just seems so far from what it used to be. Like it was just last year that they reassured us that they weren't going to partner with a major network because the networks couldn't offer them what they wanted for the community.
ReplyDeleteNow look at it.
