Huge fire burns movie sets at Universal Studios
"A fire at Universal Studios on Sunday destroyed a set from 'Back to the Future,' the King Kong exhibit and a video vault containing more than 40,000 videos and reels."
"NBC Universal President and Chief Operating Officer Ron Meyer says 40,000 to 50,000 videos and reels were damaged in the video vault, but there are duplicates in a different location."
Universal Studios is located in Universal City, north of Los Angeles.

ReplyDeleteEarly reports say the fire was caused when a bolt of lightning struck the 'Back to the Future' clock tower. No word on whether a Delorean was seen in the area.
