"Crack the code to find a special place of mine." - Cassie
See what you all can find. Let me know. I'll keep trying myself. - Nessy
-------------------------
The Poem in the video was deciphered by Sarah Elizabeth and Virginian9000 to be ...
Golden head by Golden head,
Like two pigeons in one nest
Folded in each other's wings,
They lay down in their curtain'd bed;
Like two blossoms on one stem,
Like two flakes of new-fall'n snow,
Like two wands of ivory
Tipp'd with gold for awful kings,
Moons and stars gaz'd in at them.
Wind sang to them lullaby,
Lumbering owls forbone to fly,
Not a bat flapp'd to and fro
Round their nest;
Cheek to Cheek and breast to breast
Lock'd together in one nest.
"For there is no friend like a sister
In calm or stormy weather;
To cheer one on tedious way,
To fetch one if one goes astray,
To lift one if one totters down,
To strength whilst one stands"
The differences in the original poem and the poem presented in the video are noted below ..
The words I see with the apostrophe and then d, instead of "ed" like the actual poem, are Curtained, Tipped, Gazed, Flapped, and Locked.
Also, the last part is missing a word--"the". "To cheer one on the tedious way"
Pariah deciphered the text behind Nessy in the beginning of the video as ..
“Let me live, love, and say it well in good sentences”
It's a Sylvia Plath quote.
That poem makes me miss my sister. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNow if I could only figure out how its a code... ;)
