I woke up for a second when she said Sarah showed up randomly, who would of thought LG15 would use a cop out.
I also did not understand the use of a thumb pick for strumming a guitar over a normal pick that would make it sound...good ?

ReplyDeleteNot letting Salinas get away with it, huh? Wouldn't that have been like Jonas shooting him in the face when they went for Gina's camera? Yeah, I know, he didn't have any bullets, and The Order control the cops probably...whatever. Do something!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love Lucy, but what's to say she's so badass that if Jonas and Daniel jumped her at the same time that she'd be able to fight them off?? Size does count sometimes, especially when you're close to them, and they can't shoot at you from far away.

ReplyDeleteIn all seriousness, I enjoyed this video. I don't know if we needed to drag it out past 5 minutes, but it was a good video. This is what character development is all about.
But I agree with Jenna. I think the boredom anyone is experiencing (myself included) is because of the apathy we've grown into for this series in general. :(

LG15 is at it's best when it's just one character (or two) vlogging to the camera. It's the confessional / personal feeling that connects viewers to these characters.
ReplyDeleteFrom a practical point of view, a low production budget means some of the story will always be told through this kind of narrative / expository scene - but I think that can be a strength in this format.
I think it's important for us to see the characters reacting to the events, and it is also nice to see references back to earlier events (such as Gina giving the money to Emma so she could travel home).
That said, it's my new theory that Gina is alive and Sarah took her delivered her back to the creepy hospital where once fully recovered, the Order will deliver her to a new tent city run by Carl where they plan to attempt to produce trait positive babies the old fashioned way.
Either that, or the Order preserved Gina in wax as a "living doll" for Carruther's private collection.

ReplyDeletePS EVERY FREAKING TIME SHE HAS ROUGHT OUT THE GUITAR.....OK BOTH TIMES SHE HAS BROUGHT OUT THE GUITAR THEY HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY OUT OF TUNE! TUNE IT PLEASE! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!GET AN ELECTRIC TUNER! It's only one string too I think its E by the sound of it so it's throwing everything out of wack.
