The creators have been super busy and want to answer our question. We are the only reason they exist. With the help of BK and Amanda they tried to pull together the most popular question.

Notes (these are very rough notes right now but will be corrected and improved over time):

There will be old faces in the finale.

LG15 is the universe that has trait positive girls that have the Order chasing after them. There is a fictional religion called the Hymn of One and there are Watchers and Shadows. They mythology lives on and it will be the framework for the new show. The vision was to create a universe like a Star Wars or a Buffy. The Italian show will also be a spin off and involve the core mythology. It will be in Italian and it is meant for an Italian audience. They are looking into subtitling it, depending on the cost. You will not need to follow the Italian show to understand the USA show. They eventually hope to have 10-15 shows worldwide with their own characters and story lines.

The new USA show will start sometime in September. They are definitely using YouTube which will be integrated into the web site using their API. They are not sure if they will use the Lonelygirl15 account. There likely will be a new account as well if they do use the Lonelygirl15 account. If you want to audition, make a video and put it on the web site.

The new LG15.com will be a full social network and the characters will have their own profile pages. You will be able to talk to the characters and interact with the on their accounts. The general feel of the page be a video or some other content with a discussion box below it. The look will be similar to what we have now but the navigation will be much better.

Community video will be on the main video page with the new series. You will be able to link to "show pages".

The are unifying discussions around the site so that discussion board and comment board discussion are unified. Threads will be created on the discussion board that started on the main page so that you do not have to bounce back and forth if you do not want to. The new discussion board will not have as many features as the current board has. They want to know what feature are important to you.

The Lonelygirl15 and KateModern sites will be preserved exactly how they are right now except you will not be able to add new content to them.

Eventually they hope to integrate mediawiki into the web site so that you will be able to click on a link and go to the relevant article.

They do not know yet what they will do about accounts but at a bare minimum they will send e-mail invites to anyone who has an account. Your old screen name will be reserved for you.

There will still be live events and interaction. The new show will follow the KateModern track in terms of live events. They are integrating third party web sites into the new web site. They will integrate YouTube, Twitter, Photobucket and Flickr. These sites will become more part of the interactivity and live events. You will be able to have your own blogs within the social network.

You may see LA in the new USA but you may also see other locations around the country. Possibly the East Coast and the Mid West. They basically want to take the show and take it across the country.

From day 1 the coolest part of the was the interactive part between the show and the community. Community videos such as the Coalition, Lonelyjew15 and RedEarth88 will be featured on the page that new show is on. There will also be show pages.

HOOBS will not change at all but none of the data will be ported over to the new site.

Chat will remain IRC for now but eventually switch to an "open standard" such as XMPP ( Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol ) They want to have integrated chat on the profile pages like Facebook chat has or Gchat does.

They admitted to rewriting superpowers

They said Miles probably came up with the name "Order".

They talked about the Jules storyline.

Cassie was not a plothole, she wasn't plot. she was literally this person bree knew. she was a metaphor for Then it cuts out and amanda says so why would she stick around she didnt have anything else to add.

Greg likes the Lee vids where he was harrassed at the office, Subservient Lee....but all the lee videos are his favorite.

Lonelygirl15 name = descriptive. she was lonely. she was a girl. not mesh's idea, but Miles's. 15 because make a username at 15 and it keeps going even if you turn 16 or 17, miles did it in college, more authentic. also username people would be intrigued by.

Just girls are trait positive = ribozymes. DNA. "Cant argue with science"

No current plans for lonelygirl15 movie. Lisencing lg15 universe to third party for novels, comics, etc? yes.

Miles's favorite lg15 videos. Attatchment to videos he had a part making. He most enjoyed making Bree's Dad is Dead art video.

Fun. been a while since he done much with lonelygirl. went to beach, Kevin, Mesh, Miles, actors went to beach, filmed "cool" footage on water really didnt know what theyd do with it. he went home and found a song and edited it together. he loves editing. wrote about it on the daily reel.

Greg's favorite are peace offering because that was the first video he wrote. Something for rockets were in that vid, they're friends of his. second favorite video was home invasion. pretty epic. jonas was all "Jason in bourne"(?)

Amanda titles the videos. Titles got dirtier when amanda took over. more violent, more boobs, more dirty titles.
Girl tied up was Amanda. She is really proud of it. Amanda knows what sells. amandas fav is I'm Done. Jonas video after Bree died. Makes her cry. Song is incredible. Her, Mesh, Kevin, Jackson drove. rented a motel room. went to all diff places.

Music supervisor, Seth Jacobs. just joined full time. will do more shows. Used to be lawyer, then music manager. Managed Jane Does. gets songs for shows. Anyone who knows bands they can get rights to should email [email protected]

Why does the tub attract Jonas? "jonas just has a thing about bathrooms. maybe its something with his upbringing" ~Amanda

Fish taco reference not meant to be dirty. San Diego fish tacos are popular. not meant to be dirty.

They had enough offices with new office for Miles/Greg to have their own offices but they decided to share the conference room.

The Unthinkable Happened:
No filming permit. Active garage. Xmas shopping time. Amanda had scouted for the top level, thats where they were supposed to go. Miles/Mesh thought it was a better shot where they were. in garage for half hour trying to block out shot. Deacon Ken pointed his finger into gregs chest, dislocated his finger. lean over and loud screams. top half his finger was floating on top of his other finger.greg throws his dad in his car and leaves. amanda takes actors in car and leaves. Miles, Mesh, Kevin sitting there with camera and nothing. video in one take.
if you play the vid loud enough, you can hear ken screaming. Amanda is injury prone.

Filmed at the Grand Canyon and emma jumped on order thug (Marcello) did it several times, he landed fine, final time, she really jumped on him and he like broke his neck. Three/4 more mornings of shooting. amanda wants to rush him to hospital, he just says hes fine. holds his neck and directs "paralyzed" for next few days

Three things were mentioned to look forward to:

1. more contests (and Amanda seemed open to contest suggestions)

2. behind-the-scenes "office" videos during the break between lonelygirl15 and the new show

3. When I asked whether they would consider designing future "story hooks" similar to the way Cassie was sort of handed over to fans, Miles responded "that is a good idea." ... I think this could be a good way to attach UGC to the canon story without plot conflict

A few things I recall about the new website...

About the new website - it will be similar to the current site (current video on main page), with links to forum and lgpedia.

The top of the page might be an important image (a puzzle or document) rather than a video.

Commenting on a video will be threaded and tied into the forum threading somehow (viewing same thread in two different places or something). The forum will be a new forum package. The current forums (including the Kate Modern forums) will be frozen and saved with a link to them somewhere for future reference. HOOBS will continue to be available.

There will be user pages.

YouTube videos will be sourced into the website somehow (not sure if they meant right away or later).

They have the budget for programmers now, so new features will be added regularly.

Greg's father broke his finger (pointing it at Greg's chest) during "The Unthinkable Happened" - if you turn the volume up, you may hear him yelling in pain in the background.

About new shows, etc.

There will be a show in Italy (they did not say when). Asked about English subtitles, they said they would like to include them, but may not due to expense, but hope a fan who speaks Italian and English will do translations.

The "new show" will be in English and set in the U.S. and may involve travel all over the U.S. including the East Coast. It will start late September or October. Just like KateModern and the Italian spin-off shows, the "new show" will be another story involving the Order and Hymn of One within the LG15 universe.

Eventually, they would like to have many such shows in various countries, perhaps 15 going at once. Each runs independently - you don't have to watch all of them to enjoy and understand one of them.

About YouTube channel lonelygirl15, they did not clarify exactly what their plans are. It sounded like there will be a single new YouTube channel for the "new show" and on the LG15.com website there will be some sort of character ID's/pages for each main character that fans can interact with. They might also post the new videos on the old lonelygirl15 channel, but are concerned about confusion.

About a lonelygirl15 DVD, they said they have looked into it a few times, and the series does not work that well shown on a big screen TV and watching the videos one after another (rather than interactively with comments, etc. with time delay between each one).

Instead of doing a DVD, they would like to offer on their website the kind of extra features you might find on a DVD.

They did answer the question about UGC created characters being included in the main show, and I think they said no, this would not happen (due to problems with plot conflicts), but that fans could interact with the shows through userids that could be "themselves" or "characters" they create.

(Note by me, QtheC: this is approximate and from memory, so get the recording if you can to get exactly what was said about this issue, or ask for a written response from the Creators... I don't want to misrepresent what was actually intended)
