I wasn't planning on watching this, i had dismissed it as boring and uninteresting.
ReplyDeleteGood thing i did, it's more entertaining and enjoyable than i originally thought.
the best quote from act II,
ReplyDelete".....my penis is the hammer."
I'm impressed by Felicia Day's singing, and she's really funny too.
ReplyDeleteShe also stars in "The Guild" and appeared on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" ... see:

Agreed purplepassion, agreed. I lol'ed so much when I was watching it this morning, I think I woke up my roommates!
ReplyDeleteI think this is hilarious and amazing!
ReplyDeleteSeriously I'm in love with this. Why in the world are they taking it offline after the 20th! I never get on the Internet on the weekend so I'll have to make an exception.
ReplyDeleteI love Dr Horrible and Laundry girl and hate Hammer man.
I watched this out of curiousity and found it thoroughly impressive. Go watch it anyone in doubt.
My only complaint is that this won't be ongoing. I'm already QQing.
ReplyDeleteI may be wrong, but I get the feeling this may be a clever way to get a pilot some exposure, and could turn into a longer series if there is interest. It's been pretty slickly produced for a one-off.
ReplyDeleteBut maybe it's just Joss Whedon's way of testing the internet waters for other things he might want to produce.
Does anyone have any good links about the thinking behind this production?
I love this!!! If you haven't seen Firefly, it's got the same fun writing style -- in more of a space cowboy/dry wit non-musical bent.
ReplyDeleteNF, NPH and JW rule! :D
:):):)
ReplyDeleteI pity the fools who are missing out.
ReplyDeleteI thought it had to be viral marketing/promoting SOMETHING, but then I read his master plan and thought maybe it was just an experiment, a well-down, well-executed experiment.
ReplyDeleteWhy has no one ever done a musical TV series? That would be hilarious (an no, Hannah Montana does not count).
