I smell a potential series...
I can't believe how sad the ending was!!! :(
ReplyDeleteI agree, it was so depressing :(
ReplyDeleteI love patrick neil harris! i thought the ending was sad too :(
ReplyDeleteSPOILER (sort of) ALERT...
ReplyDeleteI thought Penny would somehow become another evil super-villain and join forces with Dr. Horrible, but remember, this is a comic-book in video form, so anything is possible in the future!
I'm hoping that the DVD will have tons of deleted scenes/alternate ending because that just can't be it!
ReplyDeleteSPOILERISH:
I was expecting a cliched ending where Penny realized Billy was Dr. Horrible and yelled at him. He felt bad, renounced his evil ways, Penny realized that Capt Hammer was the true villain, and they both became the town's new real superheroes.
The ending was totally not what I expected and so depressing. I just want to cry. And that's over fictional characters that I've spent approximately 45 minutes with.
ReplyDeleteThe ending, though sad, was PERFECT. It solidified Dr Horrible's evil side and now he can go out and "change the world" without any distractions. (of course, at some time in the future his guilt will play a major role I'm sure) I was surprised, but actually pleased that it wasn't the typical, expected ending.
