HELP MAKE FOREVERGRACE A PARTNER!!!
PLEASE!
Everyone, the new web series Forevergrace, which is due out this fall has some hard hitting storylines to bring to you: our audience. But with a professional project comes a professional budget, and we're almost bankrupt by just creating the first week and a half of videos. So, please tell everyone you know, your contacts on youtube, your subscribers on youtube, family, friends, ANYONE to subscribe (please)! 400 subscribers will make us eligible for a youtube partnership and if so, we promise to bring in all of you lonelycrackers, or soon to be known as FOREVERCRACKERS, to the show as actors, writers, or even directors!
Oh, and visit http://freewebs.com/worldnewstv to participate in the official arg before the series begins! Thanks again!
- The Creators
...love how the "professional" filmmakers spelled "professional" wrong...
ReplyDeleteyah, like your beloved lg15 creators never miss-typed something, right?
ReplyDeletelol
anyways, ill try to get a lesson in internet etiquette.
A typo is a typo, but it's misspelled twice, so they clearly don't know how to spell it.
ReplyDelete"eeligable" - a typo AND a misspelling.
"were almost bankrupt" - should be "we're"
Yes, this matters. If you want to show us that you are professional, act like it. Write the PR copy the way it's supposed to be written. This is how you're portraying yourselves to us, the audience, and the audience is always fickle. Even when it's not, we remember subconsciously those errors. Not because of the errors in a vacuum, but because how overall it showed a lacking in professionalism and a lacking in polish.
So you can try and justify it and say "well your guys must've messed up too" (but I defy you to dig and look and try to find those sorts of egregious errors), or you can, you know, demand a higher standard of quality from both of them.
I think we can make 400.
ReplyDeleteLET'S DOOOOOOO ITTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!
why should we put forth the effort in mass-subscription when we haven't seen anything, I say wait for proof that this is worth making a fuss about.
ReplyDeleteI cannot question your enthusiasm sir. I am subscribed. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteFrom lonelycrackers to forevercrappers.
ReplyDeleteCount me out.
I subscribed, simply because you sorta piked my curiosity and the fact that its really painless to press the little yellow subscribe button.
ReplyDeleteBut please, PLEASE present your selves as a legitimate production company from now on. Right now, you guys are coming off as fan fiction from LG15 begging for subscribers before you even start your series, which is not a good start.
I'm saying this because I like your concept, DR/FP, I WANT you guys to do good, but you really need to present yourselves in a better fashion than what you're doing.

Count me out."
This kind of insulting comment adds nothing but a hostile atmosphere to this blog, and is only weakened further by being posted anonymously. If you have a criticism to make, please try to put something constructive or at least thoughtful behind it. Anonymous pot shots are not really what we need or want here.
I thought limepenquin had it about right.
In general, I think this blog should focus on sharing and encouraging independent creations along with reporting on the news from the Breeniverse, not attacking and dissecting every attempt. Thanks.
Dharma Rhode / Forest Park,
ReplyDeleteI cleaned up the misspellings.
Just a note that "The Creators" has a particular meaning in the context of this blog - we use this term to denote the Lonelygirl15 creators ... you might want to consider using some other appellation.
400 subscribers is a pretty lofty goal - I think you are going to need to show some exciting content to attract that kind of attention. Good luck.
Will there be any plot holes? I'm not watching if they're are no plot holes. I like my inconsistencies to be consistent. OK, that doesn't make any sense but it sounds stupid so I'm keeping it in.
ReplyDeletei am sure plot holes can be arranged Joe.
ReplyDeleteWith the 436 around they are pretty hard to avoid.
HOW TO MAKE A PLOT HOLE!
ReplyDeleteStep One: Establish your characters just sorta-kinda in the first few episodes. Have them interact in platonic and cute ways.
Step Two: Have them enjoy an activity together. Swimming! is a good choice.
Step Three: Have one character mention some other character in a very cryptic and strange way. Bonus points if one of the other characters has no recollection of said mentioned character.
Step Four: Never mention this character again for a minimum of six months (maximum two and a half years) and let the fans do the rest! Who is this character?! Why is there this strange account with the characters name?! I WAS HERE?!?!
Congratulations, YOU HAVE YOUR FIRST "PLOT HOLE"!
(Allow me to apologize in advance for this one. I couldn't resist.)
You won't get a crumb from me, 'cuz I'm from the streets of Compton. You've got to earn that shit. Why should I subscribe to this channel when it hasn't proven anything about its artistic merits, and is begging for shit before it has even done anything?
ReplyDeleteThis just speaks for how the people who are backing this series behave and I don't trust anything coming from someone that pulls this kind of bullshit. Good luck, and you'll see my subscription if you actually put out some good content, but until then you can go S a D.
me and my 400 socks will subscribe shortly.
ReplyDeleteWhy are you using images from ophaphid? I'm not subscribing to a thief.
