http://imageshack.us/ appears to be down and that is where the image is hosted. It should appear again when the site comes back up. Normally I would just upload a copy of the image but in this case it is just safer not to.
A little more info would be helpful regarding CERTAIN things such as what country was this person last seen? Obviously most of us are American/in America and Renegade is German/in Germany. I have some friends stationed in Germany that I can forward this to, but I'm not going to waste my time (and theirs) if this individual was last seen in America/is American or in another country, and I'm certainly not going to waste time if this is an ARG. Not trying to be rude, and I understand that this may be a sensitive manner but it would help anyone that wishes to help in return to know SOME information. I'm not talking about intrusive information like who this person is or why Ren is looking for them but some general & basic information such as where this person was last seen, where they are believed to be going, do they speak with an accent, etc. Help us help you.

Obviously not. And how would anyone reading this know what you are telling about what you know and what you are withholding? You haven't explained why you are asking whether people have seen the person pictured. The commenters here ask reasonable questions for some context, trying to help, and you give this kind of a response.
Modelmotion makes some kind of vague statement about it being "safer" to embed the photo rather than upload it to the blog. What does that mean?
The photo is named "wantedattackerng2.png" which makes it sound as if this guy may be wanted for questioning in relation to an attack or something.
If he's possibly dangerous, a warning should probably included on the post.
How about explaining what this is actually about rather than disrespecting those trying to help?

ReplyDeleteIt is? Because I've seen that little blue question mark somewhere before. Guess I should email the guy...
ReplyDeleteWe are not sure where the image went but we will be checking with Ren later in the day.

this post just brings me a huge wtf is this even about
ReplyDeleteIf I knew who this was, I wouldn't be asking for help, hope.
ReplyDeleteIt is certainly not an ARG, and not important enough to call Missing Persons on. I would just like to know if anyone has seen him.
I don't get this. If you really want to know whether anyone's seen him, why don't you provide more information?

Well, you could know who this man is, but be trying to locate him... which is what I'd assumed.
In that case, I would have provided what I know about him, to make it easier locating him, wouldn't I?

I haven't seen him.
ReplyDeleteWhy put up this post so vague?
