    I don't understand why Sarah is so often labelled as being a "slut" or as acting "slutty", etc etc.

    I guess the word has slightly different meanings to different people... but I still don't get it.

    Maybe it's the fact that she has a lot of promiscuous sex. Or at least did early on in the series. Once she settled down with Carl and then Daniel, I think the term kind of lost a lot of it's power over her.

    I don't like the term myself, but I'm assuming academically, that's why it was given to her.

    It got way over used within the series itself and i actually think that hurt the character of emoSarah. Now when she hints at it well it just becomes a grinding reminder of the past.
