  1. I guess we are supposed to choose which gang of thugs will aggress less upon our freedoms as individuals.

  2. "If you don't vote then you can't complain"

    PET PEEVE.

Please everyone, continue to complain as loud as you can regardless of whether you vote. Complaining is your friggin' civic duty. Rally! Protest! Be loud! Voting is a "choice" between two guys who do not care about you in the least. That is all we have? No. You want your voice to be heard? YELL.

Now go vote and then forget all about everything that matters like you always do.

Or do SOMETHING. Start by complaining.

  3. I totally agree Jen... that was extremely poor wording.

Not only should we complain .... we should put them on trial for treason for that is exactly what they have done and will continue to do.

  4. actually, jen, when i was speaking to sen. obama tonight, i told him about your feelings. then i realized it was a robocall, but he did seem earnest.

  5. Lawls abound, but can Sarah (I forget her real name) even vote? I though she was from the UK?

  6. Already voted. I think everyone should at least try to vote. I work with a bunch of people who just don't care and then whine. I think what matters is being involved in the political process in some way form or fashion, not so much voting. But people who ARENT involved in any way are a problem. If you go to protests, write letters, etc you're letting your voice be heard. The problem is those who choose not to even try.

  8. to anon above me...

this blog likes to complain about the C's - exercising their right to it i guess. of course they're going to take what miles said out of context. i swear some of them are ad scripters for mccain.

  9. Oh yes, because throwing out partisan comments is appropriate.

To anonymous, comments like that perpetuate the problem of mudslinging and avoiding the issues. Thank you for showing that apparently that works...

  10. I vote we make cheese our national food.

  11. I like cheese! :)

P.S. Just a reminder from your friendly election monitor... remember if you are in line when the polls close they must give you a ballot...

  12. Cheese is good

I know I tend to argue on these type threads, but I do respect all opinions. I just get frustrated with those who don't....

  13. Sorry Jen, I respectfully disagree. If you don't vote, you have no right to complain about the result.

  14. I have every right to complain and will continue to. That's a promise!

  15. I didn't see cheese on the ballot. Someone screwed up big time.
