ReplyDeletethe also estimated the audience for the live event was 700,000 - that sounds pretty good, though surely most events wouldn't get such a marketing push from youtube if they continue down this path.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is that this is just the first step by youtube on its path to becoming a "full media network". Think of it like the birth of MTV but on the internet.
