Security camera angles need work. They don't pan in and out as quickly as a handycam, and the inconsistencies with both the color and the amount of lines creating distortion is distracting. Gun flashes rocked out during the security camera angles though, not so much when shooting the elder.
ReplyDeleteHowever the "No, I just dont want your blood on me." line was tits.
Good video.
Linc is hot!
ReplyDeleteGood finale, I didn't expect Julie to die...
ReplyDelete*has never heard of a botched line ever referred to as being "tits"...*
ReplyDeleteUh, remind us how it was botched, again?
ReplyDeletethe zero sum thing the way he used it was kinda lame its very similar to how mgs4 uses the term zero.
ReplyDeleteI think despite the odd cringe worthy delivery of lines the outlining plot was really good linc's lines were very entertaining and the entertainment delivered was very enjoyable. Much better suspense than LG15:tR right now
Overall is rate the season 9 1/2 cats :)
I agree with TDZane's 9.5 rating. But I'd say overall this series delivered the goods better than LG15:tR has so far.
ReplyDeleteI hope we get to see Linc again sometime!
Clearly a lot of work was put into this series and for that it deserves credit. It tried some new things with varying degrees of success but the main thing is that it did try to tell a clear story within the LG15 Universe without perturbing the official story line.
ReplyDeleteDuring the creator chat Miles said that the concept of a "hook" within the main series seemed like a good idea. This is something we have asked for almost from the beginning of LG15 and yet to date there has been no movement on that front. This series could have benefited from a canon hook of some kind.
Now while attempts to engage with the community have been welcomed what we need from Eqal is a more open approach. This would be one where we were not just puppets in their story line but active story tellers in our own right. Is Eqal up to the challenge? I doubt it. Do they owe it to us? Eqal is a commercial entity and has every right to do as they see fit. Will their survival depend on it. well that just depends on how much they value a community of active story tellers.
I suspect that "Linc" has learned a great deal from this experience and while the show had some clear limitations I think the character remains strong and will live on to fight another day.
Personally I would have liked to see a bit more character development as opposed to pure action. This season of LG15 has suffered the same problem and it makes me wonder about the choices story tellers are making. On the other hand the series Pink has a much better blend of character development and action. Another strong series for character development is With The Angels which is moving along quite nicely. People tend to get very excited over action but I believe that one of the key reasons they watch is for the relationship that develop along the way.
this is the way a blog should be! thanks!
