What will you do to fight the ORDER?
On Saturday January 10,2008 Andrew Carroll was arrested for possessing marijuana in public in a disobedience protest in Keene, New Hampshire. What makes this case interesting is that Andrew has never used marijuana and informed the authorities in advance of his intentions to appear in public in possession of marijuana in an act of peaceful protest.
Ghandi, the once spiritual leader of India is probably the best known for his resistance to tyranny through mass civil disobedience. Many come to the conclusion that the best way to protest is by peaceful means via the non-aggression principle. It holds that "aggression," which is defined as the initiation of physical force, the threat of such, or fraud upon persons or their property, is inherently illegitimate.
We know there is no force more sinister than the ORDER. The question is, what are you willing to do about it?
If convicted Andrew will not pay any fine to see if the state is willing to use even more force against him and send him to jail for his peaceful protest.
