PLOT SUMMARY: Alexis Capshaw is a lonely girl. Or at least she was until she moved into her new apartment and met her neighbours; unstable and gun-wielding Jonas, friendly yet bizarrely paranoid Daniel, brash and hedonistic Sarah, and Gina, who seems to be suffering from severe trauma of some kind. Alexis expected dealing with her new neighbors would be a challenge, but she never expected fistfights, breaking and entering, gunplay or explosions.
Alexis is starting to miss being lonely...

DeleteAlso, since I was putting the story back together, I made some adjustments. I had some peculiar comma uses at the time, using them on independent clauses when they were only needed for dependent clauses.
DeleteThe original story had some very intense lesbian subtext because, in 2009, I was afraid to write a gay romance.
But as I was putting the pieces back together, it became clear that the romance was good for the story and was mostly already there, so I added a few paragraphs in one chapter and a few sentences to the last three to make it overt. I wrote this story to give these characters some closure and all the happiness they deserved, after all.
And finally, I added an epilogue set in the year 2022 where the videos of THE LAST, OUTBREAK and the unfinished 2016 revival are integrated into the LONELYJOURNAL15 storyline while ensuring that Jonas, Sarah, Gina and Daniel's storylines in LJ15 still hold true.
