Eye on Shanrah Wakefield
Shanrah Wakefield is a self-described new media enthusiast and internet geek, despite being far too attractive for such pedestrian titles. She grew up in the country before moving to the metropolis of Melbourne when she was 17, which, I must say, would make an interesting plot for a web series. Since then she has traveled the world, acted in several films, and enjoyed many fruity umbrella drinks.
Shanrah is a 2008 graduate of Monash University, earning double degrees in law and art. Also, in 2008 Shanrah starred in the short film, Rock Shop, directed by future OzGirl creator, Nicholas Carlton. In addition, to her artistic endeavors, she is a passionate human rights advocate and volunteer having visited some of the more remote global hotspots. Shanrah has traveled extensively, visiting such exotic and dangerous places as Cairo, the West Bank, Jordan, Syria, and perhaps most frightening, Los Angeles, where she lived for a time while studying at the Lee Strasburg Theater and Film Institute.
On OzGirl, Shanrah Wakefield plays the self-described narcissistic bitch, Megan. A former child star, Megan is accustomed to the finer things in life, which apparently includes ginormous designer sunglasses. Megan serves initially as Sophie’s guide to the big city, before her own self-destructive tendencies and jealousy sabotage their relationship. Shanrah, also, recently entered the Rocketboom, host contest, and has a couple of new web series projects in various stages of development.
she's cute.

Are you sure she's not an ARG character?
(On an unrelated sidenote, if your name anagrams to "nailed shake wharf" and "airhead shank flew", you may want to ponder the implications...)
(And no, I'm not hating on her...I don't even know her. I just thought it was humorous :P)
Oh dear!

Shanrah Wakefield HYPE!!!
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean there is going to be a Shanrah Wakefield TV show? Viral marketing perhaps?
ReplyDeleteFound this through twitter. It is a nice article, I did not know half that stuff about her, someone did there homework; however, I don't see how this is an ARG, am I missing something?
