Right on time for The Last: Quietus....v16
Right on time for The Last: Quietus comes a new version of the Link Fix with more improvements for the comment boards - for full meeping pleasure during the finale!
Changes:
- Added Last Seen display on posts
- Changed additional chat link from Mibbit to FreeNode web chat, since FreeNode blocked Mibbit >:|
- Patched up the horribly broken links (notice a pattern?) on profile board pages as much as possible
- Firefox only:
- Added option to save a default chat nick for FreeNode web chat
- Added ignore system for posts
- Added smiley/bbcode insertion at cursor position
Options for features mentioned above can be found in the newly-added Script Options menu in your dashboard (Firefox only).
The Last Seen system employs a certain amount of caching and pre-selection - if you run into problems of it not showing times of users who recently upgraded to v16, restarting Firefox (to clear the cache) should make it recognize the new users. (This is necessary because otherwise, we'd kill the server...and you wouldn't want the boards to go down, would you?)
Screenshots:
With apologies to Ms. Anne Boleyn - I had to show off the ignore feature on someone, and her posts were at the best positions. I did, of course, unignore her afterwards.
Attention
I had to refactor the posting code in order to incorporate the Last Seen system - no one reported any problems, but if you do find a glitch, please report it as usual.
This especially holds true since this will be the last week of videos for a while - if you tell me about something tomorrow, you can spend the last week with a fixed script; if you tell me about it afterwards, the script will only be fixed for the big silence. So please, report bugs asap.

Please post feedback in the comments below or in the script discussion section.
Installation:
For those new to it, here's a repetition of the installation steps:
- If you're among the few not using Firefox 3 yet, you can get it here.
- Install Greasemonkey from here.
- Install the Link Fix from here.
Should Greasemonkey not step in and ask to install the file, in Firefox's File menu, click Open File (hotkey Ctrl+O), browse to where you saved the file, and open it. You should see some code and a bar should appear, allowing you to install the script.
If you're running Safari, modelmotion has found this solution which allows you to run the script in Safari - according to the bot, it's running just fine!
You can deactivate the script at any time (right-click the monkey in the lower right corner, uncheck the Link Fix), deinstall the script, or deinstall Greasemonkey. In all three cases, the site will be back to normal as soon as you refresh.
