OzGirl Wins Best Web series at itvfest
OzGirl won for best web series during the Independent Television Festival award ceremony Thursday night in Los Angeles. OzGirl also won the award for best acting as well. This was a unique year for itvfest as it was the first year that television shows and web series were given equal weight and importance. Past winners at itvfest have gone on to secure development deals with NBC and Starz, and representation from top reps such as UTA and 3 Arts. In fact, Nicholas Carlton the creator and director of OzGirl stated early today that he had signed with UTA.
Further details to follow as they become available.
Go OzGirl!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI remember when this guy wandered into Anchor Cove and asked people to watch the pilot for his new 'social show." If I recall, my reaction was something to the effect, don't call it that.
ReplyDeleteCouple years from now he'll be accepting an Oscar or even better, a Streamy. Congrats to OzGirl.
