Reports of my membership in the Order have been greatly exaggerated.
Reports of v18's featureset, however, have been mostly accurate! See below for this time's list of changes, and remember to mention the script to newcomers or returners in the comments - many people are still waiting for Miles to fix the header link, unaware of The Script as an alternative.
v18 has been tested rigorously and no bugs are known as of the time of this posting; should you encounter one anyway or have a change/feature suggestion, please report it to me as directed below.

This blog reported on July 7 that the Lonelygirl15 and Katemodern websites on lg15.com had been down and were still not back up. Lonelygirl15 Creator Miles Beckett commented on July 8 that they were "looking into this."
At this point, the sites have been down so long that if you google "lonelygirl15", the hit for lg15.com previews the wordpress errors that you see when you try to visit either http://www.lg15.com/lonelygirl15 or http://www.lg15.com/katemodern.
Hopefully the sites will return soon, but its unclear why they've been down for so long.
The 436 was not immediately available for comment.
ETA 9:45pm PDT: Thanks to Mathieas for providing this handy counter for keeping track of how many days the Creators have been "looking into this":

Hey,
Yeah I know it's confusing. We were trying to get the word out but we now have 28 hours of footage to get into 40 minutes worth of episodes (oops). This has caused the need for us to expand the series a little longer but there are now only 4 videos to go. :)
Sorry for the confusion. Frustrating I know
The Last said...
At this point. We're not sure. It's more a matter of... when the videos get up... (but we have the full commitment of hoping to finish next week.)
I think that's wishful thinking Joe XD.
Sorry guys again.

I was trying to find the account that the n1ckola photos on insidelg15 were hosted on (because I am lame like that) and in my search, I stumbled across these promotional and Behind the scenes photos of lg15 the misfits. Not sure if this is new to anyone besides me, but I thought I might as well post it.

Last night, Renegade sent me v18 of the link fix to play with. It features, among other things, nifty video response boxes to in the right margin. This morning, as I was helping him find things to fix and features to add, I accidentally left a page open for something like five minutes. When I went back to it, I found this staring at me:

Future episodes will introduce Los Angeles Police Detective Katherine Czerny (played by LonelyGirl15 veteran Katherine Pawlak) and Max Mason’s mysterious bodyguard, Mason Vixen (played by Sara Jo Elice). Episode 3 will feature the ensemble’s second musical number.

Hi all, not an active player but I picked up the DD this morning. For those interested it was under the Top of an Irrigation Control Valve (ICV) :P.
I don't have time to scan right now but I'll transcribe. It was in an envelope that was sealed and re-opened, addressed to THOMAS.
-------------------------------
Top right is the number 4 (makes me think 1-3 are missing, that and the envelope being opened already).
Analyzing what's important and what isn't. The pigeons get released once I leave, I bet, so I know that it is futile to become attached to any of them them (I'm pretty sure it's them that's stricken out but I don't know why as it was rewritten to the right). Regardless Maddison's finally interacting with me.
To tell the truth, what I crave most here is bacon, cooked in a frying pan. We require everything to be cooked in a microwave. Exactly what happens to bacon in a microwave eclipses all other thoughts.
Should I be jealous that you only eat out for your meals? Maybe, but probably no. Do I need to be jealous of two me n eating out together? I hope not. Certainly. I satisfy you in ways your security cannot.
More than anything else I wish I had a staff of qualified nurses covering all my rounds while researching while maintaining lab work is more than enough for one person. I am tired, and my work is sketchy.
Hopefully it won't be too much longer, and everything here will be finished. I cannot wait to reach over and feel you sleeping next to me. Each day I long for that to come.

The origins of the Order can be traced back to Denderah (also spelled Dendera) a city in Ancient Egypt.
History
Years ago, Aleister Crowley visited the Temple of Hathor, where he uncovered hieroglyphs that told of a woman living in ancient Denderah who was believed to be a descendant of the fertility goddess Hathor. This woman was widely considered the "fountain of youth." Hathor's daughter gave birth to twenty girls and the bloodline was treated as holy. Apparently these girls and all of their descendants today have those same life-giving qualities in their blood. Upon learning this, Crowley began to track down the girls and exploit them for his own purposes. From there, he founded the Order, wherein he shared his secrets with a group of Elders, who took on the name "The Order of Denderah," and began performing Ceremonies to extend their lives.
Other References
In honor of their founder's passion for Ancient Egypt, many members of the Order and Hymn of One study and reference Denderah.
In the video Zodiac of Denderah Bree tells a story about Napoleon's troops finding the temple at Denderah, and about the astrological system they had developed. Zodiac ceilings have been found at the Temple of Hathor. The Centaurus/Lion can be seen within Dendera Zodiac.
In the series finale, The Ascension, Jonas is held captive on the S.S. Hathor's Song. The boat is an Order-operated boat, clearly referencing the Temple of Hathor.

The first thing that shocked me was the sheer amount of gratuitous nudity contained in the DVD version. Okay, not really, but I’m fairly certain I have your attention. The single DVD comes in a slim-line case and contains all 23 original episodes, deleted scenes, two commentaries, bloopers, and a behind the scenes vignette. All-in-all I must say the DVD exceeded my expectations.
Surprisingly, the twenty-three individual episodes cut together, flow amazingly well. Watching the movie in this format, for that is what it feels like, brings a seamlessness to the narrative and to the structure of the film, that enhances the experience. For those who did not watch OzGirl or who have never watched a net series, this is a perfect way to experience the series, because it really does feel like a complete movie and not twenty-three different parts slapped together in a row.
The DVD features two commentaries by the cast and crew. The commentary by series creator and director Nicholas Carlton and cinematographer Shaun Crawford is full of inside information and technical discussions that will surely interest those with a passion for film-making, or for those who just want to listen to two guys with accents talk for two hours. The second commentary features actresses Sophie Tilson and Shanrah Wakefield talking about their experiences making OzGirl. Listening to the two of them talk, one can tell that they had a lot of fun working on OzGirl. Also, they seem to have read everyone’s comments and enjoyed, eventually, the instant feedback indicative of net series.
The DVD also features a number of deleted scenes, including my personal favorite, Sadie’s aborted video blog. On the one hand it is obvious why they chose not to use it, it does not really fit the character, but on the other, a few more Sadie blogs would have been a real treat. Also, there is an extended collection of Megan clips, which everyone surely will enjoy.
Nevertheless, no review would be complete without a few minor gripes and this one is no exception. For instance, it would have been nice if they had used a different picture of Sadie on the DVD package. There is nothing wrong with the picture, however; after six months of starring at the same photo, a new one would have been nice. Also, the DVD menu is barebones at best, but it gets the job done and really, how much time does a person spend looking at the menu?
For those who have not picked up a copy of the DVD yet, I highly recommend doing so. The twenty-three episodes when viewed as a cohesive whole truly enhances the experience and the video quality was very good even when viewed on my 42 inch LCD. For fans of the series the behind the scenes bonus features and commentary are a real treat.
Net series are a dying breed, if you enjoy watching them, then if you can, support them, otherwise you will end up having nothing to watch but Fred, and that is a fate I would not wish on anyone.

The less-than-good news is that there is more competition than ever and if creators want a leg up, they have to start thinking about brand integration before footage is shot.

Shows with high quality, niche content create loyal, passionate communities that identify deeply with the content – and because the psyche of the audience members is entrenched in the subject matter, the opportunities for brand engagement become genuinely interesting.

A few highlights from chat:
02:50 Maddison I know! and yeah. me and adam are both in the advanced video class
02:53 Maddison k, well advanced video has the same video projects (including the viral etc) we just have to creat a Purple Pride or NacEdition and a test
02:54 Maddison purple pride is:
02:55 Maddison a program designed by the student to feature a school event/club/org. everything is done by the student ie interviews, B roll, set design, light design, etc
02:55 Maddison NacEdition is:
02:56 Maddison a program designed by the student to feature a LOCAL (that's where the Nac come from) like charity/org/person of importance then the rest as the same as the other one
02:56 Maddison basically making our own 30 min production
03:22 Maddison but then why not contact through the internet instead of pigeons? nternet would be faster don't you think?
03:23 Maddison i hate going to school being sick
03:32 Maddison school: sfa issn't even allowed to give info to your parents
03:32 Maddison doctor: don't know. isn't there a confidentially thingy?
03:32 Maddison aren't they supposed to follow that?
03:36 Maddison yes i was working at the fredonia when i got my spine tested
03:37 Maddison and i guess that is a logical assumption about the leak at my doctor's although i would hope that they wouldn't be like that. i mean, its' a doctor's office, not some corner health center
03:37 Maddison i didn't tell anyone about it
04:04 Maddison another spinal tap?
04:04 Maddison hell no!
04:04 Maddison it's hurts REALLY REALLY BAD. probably the most painful thing you can have done to you
04:05 Maddison it's not just the needles. it's the *pain*
04:15 Maddison it's only the second day of class. I have to develop this show over the course of the semester. The fredonia might work but I don't know if my proff will let me since I work there
04:15 Maddison i have to be careful what I choose because i can't change my mind
04:22 Maddison um, well, it was during a time where I was curious about mom, i knew how she died. I researched it and found that it could be hereditary
04:22 Maddison so i went to check myself out
04:29 Maddison i think it's funny that you guys talk about me while i'm gone
04:55 Maddison the bills are in my name
04:56 Maddison but then why are they sending me pigeons instead of emails?
04:58 Maddison so i should check my trash folder?
05:03 Maddison but i've seen them in the cafe since before my spine test
05:11 Maddison but they wouldn't give them that info bc it's private, right?
05:16 Server Maddison has left the room

From the live chat with Jason.
HG will stay up for an indefinite amount of time. You may see SOME content updates now and again, but nothing is set in stone. It's all up to CBS
See: Q&A to discuss any Harper's Globe
Joe said...
I doubt they will keep the site up for long if people don't go to it.
modelmotion said...
what is longer...... indefinite or 436?
Joe said...
Hmmm?
Well we don't want to link HG with 436. It might lead to HG not existing. Saying the HG will stay up indefinitely is like saying that we don't know how long it will stay up. But once it does go down then we will know. It's a place holder for an answer to a question. The answer does not exist yet, but one day will.
Now we can't say 436 will last forever, it would have to exist in the first place to associate even a vague time line to an existence that doesn't exist. However, not only does 436 not exist, it has never existed not will it ever exist. It has and always will not exist. Even if time ended, if such a thing were possible. 436 would still not exist.
So while an indefinite answer may one day have a definite answer a 436 answer will not.
Now I know what you are thinking. There have been situations in the past where things have been encompassed by the 436, ceased to exits and then somehow came back to existence. But this is not the same situation. What we are talking about here is an answer that not only does not exist but has never existed nor will ever exist.
I hope I have cleared thing up.

CHAT LOG <===::::: WARNING SPOILER ALERT:::::
Comments by Jason:
HG will not get its OWN DVD, but it is looking likely that it will be including in the HI DVD
Yes, Henry owned Hometown Press. He set it all up for his Daddy to lure Robin.
Wakefield and Henry were killing ppl up and down Washington, as practice. That is how Wakefield came across Cody and the Frat boys.
The guy in the road was Wakefield. Not sure why that was ever in doubt
CC is not the brightest bulb. He has been irrevocably damaged by the deaths of his parents. And he was hiding from Wakefield, who knew he was still alive. It was all to mask his presence and get info to Robin
HG will stay up for an indefinite amount of time. You may see SOME content updates now and again, but nothing is set in stone. It's all up to CBS
Yes, parts of the show were modified based on early reception to the show. And more opps for interactivity were opened when we saw how active you all were
Robin was a loose end Wakefield needed to contain
I can't really answer that except to say that Ep 15 was meant to be our Big Finale, with Ep. 16 more as a coda or epilogue
The mask was going to be a VERY tiny subplot, but it was dropped
By the time the marina exploded, the island had been evac'd
The little girl playing in the road is inconsequential. But the women in the rumpled CC's footage was his mother
Now you're starting to see why people were "named this or that". Also, hello, he caused a Dangerous Car Wreck!
The bear trap article WAS about the wreck. wakefield planted all the evidence for it
She was ALWAYS going to escape using CC's boat. But in earlier drafts... maybe something different
Robin was og'd supposed to be more threaded into HI, but it didnt come together. So no, never meant to be a part of the wed party
About 30 some odd days of principal photography, with another 7-8 days of reshoots later down the road. It was shot in and around Los Angeles, but mostly on the Calvery lot in Van Nuys
Miles just gave me the answer. He came up with it, and we worked the metaphor around the name. Good question.
The island has a timeline, yes. As does Robin's whole life, if you can believe it.
I will be Community Manager for Level26 and Paula Deen, and most likely the other projects we have coming down the road.
It was Henry that was "manning" HG for Wakefield
GREAT question. Certain people HAD to know Henry was in on it in order to execute our show.
HG was Robin's story. And her story was told from beginning to end.
If you've signed up for an EQAL site, you are on our email list.
More users would have helped.
You get us a sponsor, and we can talk
HG was about Robin's growth. Her lessons learned. She learned them.
CC DID have a limp, yes
GREAT question. Robin changed her look after college. Maybe as a means to start over, or as a means to hide.
kikikins asked:
Why did Wakefield want Robin to start an online community which would prove he was still alive?
That's part of the dropped storyline, but JW did
She was never attached to the tragedy, but maybe she's learned enough to come forward.
thanks everyone, it's been my pleasure being your Admin
aw man, we didnt even get into HG season 2. too bad...
j.k
though their was talk
no no, a s2 got pitched

I was inspired at the top of Figueroa Mountain high above Michael Jackson's Neverland and I just started singing Heal The World. It's so beautiful up there.

The accepted history now goes that lonelygirl15's fans were "shocked" when she was outed in september 06, but of course in reality many people presumed it was fictional (to varying degrees) even at this point. Lonelygirl15.com started to become active (though no one was going there) a few days before this video was posted, and when Hiking was posted, it garnered one comment:

The first really “fake” feeling video she has posted. She’s acting, putting on a show, creating her own little low-budget soap opera. It was fun for a while, but the jig is up.

I hope this video cheers you up anyway, Maddison. Adam and Emily should both sing Elaine's song to you. :P
Adam, you were awesome delivering food to Maddison. I still think chicken noodle soup is the best choice, if you can get your hands on that.
I love Seinfeld. Clip used under fair use.

I recorded this voice over for the video, but the music says it better than me.
But... here's what I was gonna say.
Hi. It's me. Sittin around. Doin nothing. Bored.
Everything is in a mild state of Limbo. In-between semesters, Maddison is sick, Emily is sick too, so to speak. with me.
I'm constantly in trouble at work for spending too much time on school and not enough time on work.
No word from whomever the pigeon people are. No idea what that is even about.
Kids in danger. Pigeons in coop. Maddison's spine.
Mystery abounds. Betwixt and between in everything.
Even my grades. .. up in the air. Well .. grade.. made an A in Video Basics, but I have an I in New Media.. an I! When I read that on MySFA, I was like whah? Apparently it wasnt a typo, Apparently I stands for incomplete.
Touché Life! Touché
I guess video blogs were only a small part of my grade.
I think my prof is throwing me a bone...or vicariously living through me. Choose your own adventure there
He is trying to get Maddison and me to do an independent study next summer session, which starts Monday mind you, to continue this online journey we are on, He says he'll give me an A in New Media if I show more effort with my other online social media accounts next session.
It's like an extension on a paper... or a ball for my chain.. Sucks. ..
Maddison got an A
No more YouTube Rage Posting. I took that little fight video down to..uh..perhaps bring some peace into my life again. At least try to
So.. here I am drinking a big can of Limbo. Sort of refreshing, but not so much at the same time. My thirst is kinda quenched, but Im still thirsty... for what? I dunno.
Probably for more limbo. Yum.
