It now looks like we have all the entries for LG15: TSIY-2 and we now invite you to vote in a community poll for "LG15: TSIY-2 People's Choice"

If you have not already done so we strongly encourage you to watch all the entries (see the playlist below) before submitting your vote. As you do so, here are a few things to consider:

1. Which show has the best overall concept.
2. Which show has the potential to tell the most compelling story.
3. Which show promises the best production value.
4. Which show might provide the most visual stimulation.
5. Which series has the most potential to engage the community in an interactive experience.
6. Which show makes the best use of the current LG15 mythology and/or promises to expand the LG15 mythology in a new, interesting and unique way.
7. Which show promises the most interesting, compelling and well developed characters.

It is important to emphasize that we do not have access to the full treatments and hence we are voting solely on the available information. Also this poll does not represent a statistical sampling of the entire population and hence, while the discussions surrounding the poll may be relevant to the judges, it would be inappropriate to use the poll in any way in the final decision making process.

Note that no matter what Eqal, Inc. decides or the results of the unofficial poll, we hope that all the shows continue and that the entire community will support all the shows. Anyone who puts the work into creating a pilot is inherently a winner. This is a great moment for us to expand the community so ask your friends to watch the videos, vote and most of all have fun.

So, pilot submissions closed last night (Oct 15), but I noticed that this video submission from the first TSIY updated their video description to note "EDIT- RE-ENTERED FOR TSIY SEASON 2" This was a strong entry last time.

What makes the life of one girl any more important than the life of another? The line between good and evil isn't always as clear as you may think. What is to happen to the good people that make bad choices?

Show Outline:

The life of Jordyn Johnson was, to say the least, the most typical of any teenage girl. Until, that is, she was brought an ultimatum. She would gain the trust of a group of "special girls", and hand then over to an organization called "The Order", or her, her friends, and her family would feel the consequences. Fans will soon find out, that they can't play both sides. Either they support Jordyn on her quest to find these girls, or support the people who will try and stop her from doing it, at any costs. You've seen Shadows, Elders, Watchers, and Claire, but you've seen nothing like this. On LG15: The Order Files, expect everything you know about good and bad to change. What would a seemly good-doing organization, like The Resistance, do if one girl threatened the life of another "special" girl? And how will Tachyon react to the that...? This season, YOU will control the show. The show is YOURS. Engage in a variety of interactive aspects to the show, such as a weekly "live chat", decode clues and mysteries for the characters, communicate with characters that will CHANGE the course of the show completely, and come meet with these characters LIVE in a New York City Live Event! Thanks for the support guys! I wasn't too sure if I should resubmit it, but I didn't want to look back at this amazing opportunity and kick myself for not doing something. But, I just wanted to answer a couple of concerns people have recently been having about my entry:

1- "Why be lazy and not redo it?!"

Honestly, looking back on it, there are a TON of things that I would change about this entry if I could. The thing is, being a high school senior (and yes, I have the age requirement thing under control) this time of year, I have been so wound up with applying to my colleges, that a half-production just couldn't fit my schedule. And honestly, I didn't decide to re-enter this submission until fairly last minute.

2- "Why make a Bree knock-off?"

I have a very specific character personality for Jordyn, and I'll leave it at that. She may come off as Bree at first, but don't expect that for too long.

3- "Oh great, you shot this entire thing already! Does that mean no mention of "The Last"?

The show, in no way shape or form, has been produced. This pilot contains random clips to give it that effect. And actually, having the chance to speak with Andrew (the creator of The Last) with somewhat frequency recently, I have some cool things planned.

4- "Ooooo. I really like that girl, she's cute. Can I have her number?"

Hahaa, no. But Jana appreciates your nice complements :-)

I may not have made it clear, and I apologize, but my college applications are out already, so my time in now fully freed up (Senior-itus has already ensued)..

As far as resources go, using my own money I purchased the Canon HV40 HD camera (which is far better than the camera I used to make this) a few weeks ago, and I have all the actors that I had in mind last year still more than willing to help (they were actually the ones that asked me to reenter). But, by "resources", I may be wrong, I feel that you may mean the other YouTubers that I featured. In short, the answer to your question is "yes". Actually, I have a few more familiar faces that are willing to help...

Well, it's been a long haul, but we here at GoCause.org have been provided with a new home via our good friends at Eqal Productions. GoCause is a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring the millennial generation to create art, be it film, music or photography, in the name of a cause dearest to their heart.

Our own attempt at such a marriage between artistic creation and community outreach can be seen here on our site through our hit web series, "LIFE IS CAUSE", starring me, Matt Hooper.

We are so excited to be able to start off our new season-and premiere our new content-with a fresh and exciting website. In the coming days we'll also have our community calendar up and running, our brand new webisodes highlighted for your amusement, and links to the sites of each NPO working in conjunction with us.

In the meantime, and until November 2nd only, we are broadcasting for you the first two seasons of "LIFE IS CAUSE", as it originally stood, before its current (technicolor!) incarnation. (Afterwards, they'll be made available at www.spinningbear.com).

The Web.Files #15 - The Cabonauts

On the latest episode of the Web.Files, the lovely and talented Kristyn Burtt interviews Hayden Black, Norm Thoeming, and Monica Young, from the cast of the upcoming web series The Cabonauts. Black discusses his inspiration for creating the show, why he decided to make a musical, and how he was able to land Sci-fi icon Nichelle Nichols as part of the cast. Black, also, unveiled some of the planned interactive elements that will be part of the series.

The Cabonauts is a sci-fi musical comedy from Goodnight Burbank creator Hayden Black. Each episode will feature an original musical performance as-well-as familiar genre actors guest-staring as the cab customers. Synopsis: LG15 Everlasting follows the lives of four individuals who have been scratched by the Order in some way or form. There is an Evil anti Aging Crème Company known as Everlasting Beauty. Everlasting Beauty has created a new product that requires the blood of trait positive girls in the formula. Their product advertises that it promises youthful looking skin if applied daily but in all actuality the product does the opposite, it accelerates the aging process until it eventually kills the user of the product. The creator of E.B. is named Loretta frost. Loretta Frost is an evil woman who cares for no one but herself. She will stop at nothing to achieve her goal of forming a new perfect world, even if that means destroying everyone on the planet. There are four people that will not just let this happen. These four individuals ban together and form a team Known as C.H.A.O.S. which is an acronym for Collective Herculean Against Oppressive Societies. This group is brought together by Tachyon. She cant stand by any longer, she knows that too many lives are at stake. Team C.H.A.O.S must stop Everlasting Beauty before they launch EB worldwide.
