First! Great first episode!

ReplyDeleteLiked the very realistic use of the vlog style, sitting the camera down and only showing legs during that conversation.
I know people will say this didn't show much yet. But it set up a basic premise for a story and that's pretty much all the first 3 minute episode should do.

Expectedly good visual style, reminds me of OpAphid (which is a good thing).
ReplyDeleteThe direction looks promising, but it's still a little weird to me that this is the third Outbreak-related video we're seeing, and at least I have yet to make out any connection to LG15. (Unless the book title says something I can't read.)
We'll see where it goes. At least it's already more lonelygirl-esque than the Mason Bourne trailer. xD

ReplyDeleteThe video itself was nice. The only negative I see so far is that the intro is a smidge too long. A 2 minute video with a full minute intro is a little unbalanced to me, but it's a small negative nontheless.
