Oprah vs Umbrella
Today speculation in the community turned to how well Eqal's Umbrella platform will handle the deluge of visitors that are expected to visit The Kind Life when Alicia Silverstone appears on Oprah. Will it hold up to this major stress test? We are sure the code gnomes at Eqal are hard at work this week tightening the nuts and bolts so that Umbrella will be in ship shape before its big test on Wednesday.
A segment on "Food, Inc.," a documentary critical of the food industry, features author Michael Pollan ("Food Rules"), who appears in it. Also: Chipotle Mexican Grill founder Steve Ells on nutrition; Alicia Silverstone on her cookbook, "The Kind Diet."
