The Web.Files #29 - The Legend of Neil
On this weeks episode of The Web.Files host Kristyn Burtt interviews Sandeep Parikh and Tony Janning from The Legend of Neil. This was another excellent and informative interview by Kristyn Burtt; however, I was constantly distracted by the bowl of oranges on Sandeep’s coffee table. In a single guy’s apartment that looks like the before picture on a home decorating show, an artfully arranged bowl of fruit brought a certain je ne sais quoi that stood out against the décor of piled T-shirts and bare walls.
The Legend of Neil is a show familiar to most web series viewers. A parody of the classic Nintendo game, The Legend of Zelda, the show centers on Neil, an oafish slacker, who was either magically transported into a video game world through autoerotic asphyxiation, or is having the world’s greatest drunk dream. The second season, which recently wrapped, featured the fan favorite musical episode with special guest star Felicia Day, as the world’s randiest demi-fey. The third season is scheduled to begin filming later this year.
Haha...Busted! That was a Sandra Payne touch. Yep, a woman's touch.

ReplyDeleteI knew it! There was no way a guy would have a bowl of oranges sitting on his TV table. Day old Pizza box, sure, old Chinese food containers, definitely, but artfully arranged fruit, no way.
ReplyDeleteI love legend of neil. Also, I keep fruit in a bowl so it isn't that strange.
ReplyDeleteDecoratorGate 2010....it was Sandeep who put the oranges on the table, so I just wanted to correct myself. So, Sandeep has a bit of decorating style.
