ReplyDeleteThe creation of Youtube was an interesting move. A business that had no business plan for how to make money is hard to get off the ground. It lost money for years before Google purchased it. Still, it would be interesting to go back and review how it came into being and survived.
What would be nice is if, as a result of this, Youtube begins to take web series seriously and develop a portal that helps us all discover and manage the content we are interested in.
As long as they 'make money' from little kids going to the Dentist and cats, they won't take serious content, seriously.
