WST Contributing Editor Mathieas McNaughton Joins Tubefilter
With the Web.Files recap linked to earlier today, Web Series Today contributor Mathieas McNaughton began what we hope is a long and fruitful contributing writer stint at Tubefilter News.
A long time contributor to this site (since November 2008), Mathieas began posting longer pieces as far back as April 2009, when he contributed a great piece about Ashton Kutcher being the first to reach one million followers on Twitter, which was met with general acclaim.
But just like John Updike and the Reading Eagle, Mr. McNaughton has left home, surely for a bright future, and we will be watching.
And I can't wait to see my next video plastered on the front of Tubefilter. Or else there will be hell to pay!

As I told Math when I found out, now I'm going to have to go somewhere completely indie focused to restore balance to the Force!
ReplyDeleteGood luck Mathieas!
This might be the worst news I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteTraitor
ReplyDeletedid he leave just because of tht party girl plus 1 article? ugh it wasnt even that bad
ReplyDeletemathieas was lured away by the big bucks.
ReplyDeleteKind of depressing that a post written by someone with HTML skills from the 90s can cause this.
ReplyDeleteA truely dark day for supporters of independent web content. :(
ReplyDeleteHE HAS BEEN SEDUCED BY THE DARK SIDE OF THE FORCE
ReplyDeleteDoes this mean Tubefilter wins?
ReplyDeleteI for one wasn't aware we were in a competition.
ReplyDeleteI imagine the dog doesn't know he is in competition with the flee either.
ReplyDeleteDid you at least get some draft picks?
ReplyDeleteDoes that make us the dog and tubefilter the flee?
ReplyDeleteFlea.
ReplyDeleteflea fly flo fun, who gives a sh*t which blog is the best'un.
ReplyDeleteHave fun at tubefilter.
How long before he writes a story about Oz Girl?
ReplyDeleteYup, my first week as a Tubefilter writer has come to an end. It has been a bit of an adjustment, but not nearly as much of one as I was expecting.
ReplyDeleteNow for those worried that this is the end of the indie voice in web series, well all I can say is they knew what they were getting when they asked me to come on board and they were fine with that. I have no plans to change anything about how I write (well maybe less hat jokes and I do miss the P Monkey pictures).
Well, I'm not going to use the comments section to promote Tubefilter, I just wanted to say thanks again to everyone who ever read my stuff here and hopefully liked it.
Also, to the anon, there are plenty of OzGirl stories in the works. :)
