    I figured it out. She got sick, needed to get trait positive blood. The author of the book is an elder. So he agreed to give her some t blood if she advertised his book on her vlog. Diabolical.

    I have a feeling this movie is going to be like "Marley and Me" where the emotional roller coaster is much more intense if you know the plot.

    And Joe...did you read the book? Because making a trait-positive comparison is both fitting and hilarious and I'm curious if it was intentional.
