After a two-day train ride from Winnipeg, Robert Reid of Lonely Planet and Kim Mance of Galavanting, arrive in Churchill Manitoba, along the subarctic Hudson Bay. The two travel writers take off on adventure tours to see wild polar bears and beluga whales in their natural habitat. They also get unexpected bonuses like a rocket launcher, souvenir shopping, a visit to Polar Bear jail, and a chat with Parks Canada Bear Patrol.
