This is a good idea. A "forced ad" can easily become "negative advertising". Is there a word for that? I have long said that a forced ad that is not appreciated has the effect of damaging a brand. Do they really want that? For example Koldcast ads are EXTREMELY ANNOYING.
ReplyDeleteI get that some form of advertising is needed to "pay for content" but it needs to be effectively designed within the context of what a viewer will appreciate. If not, advertisers may find that people choose to buy the competitors product...... just to protest unwanted ads....anyone want to join the movement?
So, beware of the double edge sword!!!!
