"Like the wise man Solomon wrote of in Proverbs: by being kind to me, she was (in effect) heaping coals of fire on my head. Rather than taking the low road and throwing a random insult back at me (and believe me, there are certainly plenty to choose from) she decided to shrug it off and be the bigger person."

From press release:
Series star and associate producer Harold Phillips credits the audience growth to the series’ mix of historical drama and supernatural adventure. “We’ve heard from viewers across the world - from the Ukraine, Japan, Germany, Japan… they absolutely love the supernatural mystery Amanda has set in the 1860’s Idaho Territory. While the web series has grown quite a bit since the first series launched, there are still very few historical dramas – and we’re one of the only series to mix the western and horror genres. It makes us stand out from the crowd!”
The second episode of Animus Cross Series II: “Hell For The Company” is currently running at http://www.animuscross.com. New episodes are posted on the last Wednesday of each month; they are posted to the popular video sharing sites YouTube and Vimeo the following Wednesday. Steen plans to go into production on the third series, “Myself Am Hell” in mid 2010.
The story revolves around an experiment that was triggered, causing a "shift" (which has yet to be explained). The story focuses on what happened following the shift, what the shift was, and the motives of those involved.
The real experiment is how the story unfolds. It is based upon the writing exercise where someone starts a story, and then passes it on to the group. Each videographer adds/changes the story with their posts. There is no set 'order' to posters, but posts expand the characters and world...and each post forms the story in a unique and unexpected way. Giving the world a "real life" experience in a science fiction storyline. The core group has specific rules they do follow, and we invite viewers to join the world with their "experiences". Occasionally, we will choose a viewer that has proven themselves with response videos to join the cannon group.
"This hysterical new show follows the absurd lives of Hank & Alex, two 20-somethings who have vowed never to pay rent again! The first independently-produced original series released by Toad Hop Entertainment, Inc., the show stars well-known regulars from the hottest TV and Web shows. A new episode will be available every Monday on Dailymotion throughout the summer.
Blending the awkward, intelligent comedy of ABC's "Modern Family" with the hysterical antics of FX’s “Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” “Squatters” follows the wild ride of two best friends whose radical but simple solution to the swelling cost of housing in New York City is to live “rent free.” Our heroes each take a unique approach to their housing dilemma. Hank relies on his rugged good looks and frat boy charm to seduce women and “take them back to their place” for the night. Meanwhile, Alex secretly converts his office cubicle into half-decent sleeping quarters and freshens up in the employee bathroom."
The Cast and Crew The “Squatters” cast includes well-known Webseries stars, including Sandeep Parikh (The Guild, The Legend of Neil), Austin Highsmith (Paramount's Circle of 8), Tony Janning (The Legend of Neil), Stephanie Marquis (Sam Has 7 Friends), Brian Ames (Take180's MyDate), and Cooper Harris (RedBull's Roadies). Additional cast includes recognizable film and television stars Ryan Sypek (ABC's Wildfire), Steffany Huckaby (Greek), Matthew Moy (Scrubs), Erik Scott Smith (Cold Mountain, A Walk to Remember), Anna Koonin (All My Children), and Marty Lodge (Grey's Anatomy, The Loop).

This vid was posted on youtube on May 10, 2010, though I am not sure it is recent (though it probably is based on Jess' appearance). Watch her expression as she walks away.
Jessica Rose also appeared on Tom Green's internet show a few times in the fall of 2006, soon after her identity was revealed. During the "hunt for Bree," Tom Green's assistant Zack Wolk (who also uploaded this video), was a big fan of the videos. In fact, he even made a spoof of "My Parents ... Let Me Go Hiking" way back on July 16, 2006. I doubt many readers of this blog ever saw this very early parody:
in that vid's comments:
lonelygirl15 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! sERIOUSLY my favorite video ever!!! You R awesome :) Thanks, this is the best video response anyone has ever done...how did you do it without a cameraman?
On August 26, 2006, (when the search for Bree was at a fever pitch), Zach also posted another video where he is excited about Bree's appearance on the cover of the Hollywood Daily version of People Magazine.
"Every ad on TV has the potential to become interactive," Google TV Technical Director Vincent Dureau said at the I/O developer conference, where the platform was announced.

On its own this makes an interesting read about Twin Peaks. However, if you read it in the context of Lonelygirl15 the parallels are quite striking.

"Some consider the show's first season (the two-hour pilot plus seven one-hour episodes) to be a marvelously entertaining puzzle retroactively ruined by its lack of resolution and by its bizarre second season."

by e-mail:
Bunny Hug is a web-series about Travis and Celeste, two former lovers forced to live together after breaking up because of a bad economy and their own self-righteous indignation. It's a comedy.
Written on a dare by Jason Filiatrault and directed by Grant Harvey (Ginger Snaps Back, TV's Whistler), Bunny Hug is a sincere and heartfelt attempt to combine the comedy of funny things, with the situation of being human — this new breed of entertainment (what we’re calling “the sit-com”) is specifically designed to deliver as many laughs as possible, while also being a somewhat decent story.
Filmed on the cutting-edge RED HD format on a shoe-string budget in Calgary, Alberta Canada - Bunny Hug is the culmination of dozens of hard working people's efforts to create something pure, and funny, and to escape the soul-crushing foot of corporate entertainment.
Recently, Bunny Hug was nominated for 3 awards from the Alberta Motion Picture Industries Association (AMPIA) including BEST SHORT and BEST ACTOR - and won the award for BEST SCREENWRITER (Drama, under 30min.) Bunny Hug is also a top 25 finalist for significant new-media funding from the Independent Producers Fund of Canada.
Starring Michelle Morgan (CBC TV's Heartland, Diary of the Dead, Stargate Atlantis) and Christopher Austman as Celeste and Travis, Bunny Hug will be the very best puppet-introduced web-series that you watch this week. Guaranteed.

Greetings, Many of you know me as Mathieas. I have written for this site for over a year, in fact, many of the actual articles on this site were written by me. Several months ago, modelmotion asked me to register the "WebSeriesToday" domain name in what I thought was an effort to rebrand and refocus the site. Also, I was under the impression that the site would make an attempt to rise above, being yet another blogspot, to become something more. This did not include granting author privileges to random people to spam their latest project.
I want to make it perfectly clear that I do not support modelmotion's unilateral decision to let anyone post anything on the site. I believe that the site should and needs editorial oversight, a clear focus, and a commitment to quality. I want to be clear this does not mean censoring opposing views, anyone who has read the comments, knows nothing gets censored. It is simply about maintaining a certain level of quality and objectiveness. People might and certainly will disagree with me, that is your right.
Thank you for reading this, and thank you for all of the great feedback over the past year, I have really enjoyed writing for the site.
Regards, Mathieas
P.S. I'm looking for a new hobby if anyone has any suggestions. :)

Posted by Miles Beckett on LG15.com:
Hey everyone, I wanna share a really cool project that a member of the LG15 family created. Kevin Schlanser was our DP on lonelygirl15, LG15: The Resistance, and Harpers Globe and was an editor for many of the lonelygirl15 videos.
"As you all know, community plays a key role in the success of any project, and that is truly epitomized in the likes of those who have been a part of the lg15/EQAL community these past years."
So Lonelygirl15 often elicited comparisons to LOST back in the day. Not because it shared its production values, but because of its coolness and burgeoning mythology. An article in the NY Times a few days ago could almost have been written about lg15. It gives pause to the question of whether the "interactivity" sought after by some webseries is also affecting regular television.
...To keep the story going, the producers of “Lost” resorted to inflation, adding more plot points and more characters at the cost of coherence. A spooky tale about plane crash survivors on a strange island [Ed. note: or a girl in a bedroom?] increasingly became a labored allegory about free will and destiny, individualism and solidarity. Mystery began to give way to mythology.
