Conspiracy for Good presents Soup Trolleys - part four.
Through the Conspiracy For Good's online "List," Product Designers Fredrik Paulsen and George Fereday from Royal College of Art hooked up with St. Vincent De Paul to design and construct three new state of the art trolleys.
These trolleys will help volunteers conduct their weekly soup runs for the homeless.
This is the last episode in the four-episode series. Here we see where the trolleys were tried, tested, and refined.
For more information about the soup runs in London, please visit http://www.svp.org.uk/
Great inspiration for how to connect your creative talent with a local cause!
Many thanks to everyone who took part.

Conspiracy for Good presents The London Book Run in collaboration with Read International.
READ International, the charity that collects any books from anyone and supplies literature to schools in East Africa has joined The Conspiracy For Good. London's biggest ever book drive happened at the final CFG event on 7th August where the action was used to help bring down Blackwell Briggs as part of the CFG narrative.
All relevant books will be sent to Africa, and the rest will be sold or recycled to generate funds for the project.
Check out this video highlighting the action and final event, and take part in donating more books on www.readinternational.org.uk
This has been an amazing journey for all of us and I hope for you all.
Keep the CFG spirit alive on this blog and out in the real world.
All the best, until soon.

A big hello to all of you at Web Series Today! My name is Kris Asick and I would like to direct your attention to a new web show I'm producing called Ancient DOS Games (or "ADG" for short).
Before I go any further, here's a quick link so you don't have to hunt for it:
http://www.pixelships.com/adg
The purpose of Ancient DOS Games is to bring to light all kinds of old computer games from the 80's and 90's using an approach that is as natural and informative as possible without relying on forced humour or other clichés. Each episode focusses on a particular game as I show a variety of gameplay footage and discuss the various features of the game such as how to play it, what the powerups are, tips for survival, or other fun factoids. I also talk about how to obtain each specific game and how to get them working on modern systems.
I also give hints at the end of each episode as to what game I will cover next and encourage viewers to send their guesses to my [email protected] eMail address. Whoever correctly guesses first gets their name in the credits of the next episode!
At present, I have 11 actual episodes up and an introductory Episode #0 which simply talks about what the Ancient DOS Games series is about. New episodes go up every Saturday (around midnight, give or take a couple hours depending on circumstances) and are hosted both on Blip.tv and of course my Pixelmusement website.
Scouring my website you may also notice that before starting this new series, I produced freeware and shareware games, such as PixelShips and Super Minesweeper, and I do indeed still sell them. Making games however takes an extreme amount of time compared to making my Ancient DOS Games series so it's now just something I do casually while focussing primarily on ADG... and my lousy call centre job.
Hopefully I've piqued your interest and I look forward to hearing back from you in the future! :)
...and just so you don't have to scroll back up to the top:

From the press release:
Web television network KoldCast TV will debut original comedy series, MAN-TEEN, on August 11, 2010. The series, created by Andy Lazarus, Tony Jones and Brian Spitz of Take A Bucket Entertainment, is presented in weekly episodes airing Wednesdays on KoldCast TV.
Marriage? Kids? House and white picket fence? The American Dream, right? Maybe. Try the batting cage and exotic dancer rotation down at Crazy Girls. Man-Teen is 35 and still doin’ it.
MAN-TEEN is an original web series that follows the misadventures of a thirty-five-year-old teenager as he battles the conventions of “modern” society. He might be taking what they’re giving. He’s just not buying what they’re selling. Featuring Devon Gummersall (My So-Called Life), Mimi Kennedy (Dharma & Greg) and a host of others, this cast and crew brings television quality and know-how to the web in a big way.
Audiences everywhere can find “Man Teen” on KoldCast TV and on the show’s official website: www.man-teen.com.

From Facebook:
First, huge thanks to everyone who’s contributed so far to bring back Season 3. Your loyalty and generosity are deeply appreciated. We know you sacrificed something to express your love for Anyone But Me. And your love makes us fierce!
As of today, we’ve raised nearly $17,000. With 370 people contributing.
It’s a terrific start.
But, we need $120,000 in order to produce a full ten episode season. And with your help, we know we can do this!
Here are some things to spur you on:
1. At $30,000, we’ll release a video of Rachael Hip-Flores and Alexis Slade singing. You’ll see these two talented gals as never before.
2. At $55,000 – and here’s the Biggie - we promise you a season of 5 new episodes! You heard right. We'll produce 5 episodes of Anyone But Me. But a full season means we still have to reach our goal of 120,000.
So, what are you waiting for? You know you want it.
Log on to www.AnyoneButMeSeries.com and make a difference.

In the last few weeks we have seen the sudden departure of a number of prominent CEOs around the World. First it was BPs bumbling Tony Hayward following the massive Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. BPs oil clean up efforts may actually have been much more effective than first reported but poor Tony just seemed to step into one public relations mine field after the next. Then at the weekend Blackwell Briggs flamboyant CEO, Sir Ian Briggs, was arrested for murder by Scotland Yard at an event in London following an investigation by a group called the "Conspiracy For Good". It is too early to tell if this will set back Blackwell Briggs new CCTV human tracking system but the arrest was celebrated by many anarchists who fear the technology will be used at the next G20 summit to track their protest activities. Finally Mark Hurd of technology company HP was forced to step down after a corporate scandal involving alleged sexual harassment.
Of the three, the arrest of Sir Ian Briggs is perhaps the most intriguing. The arrest has been reported by virtually none of the main stream media. This has led many conspiracy theorists to speculate that it is all part of an undercover plot by the UK Government to implement elements of a "police state" using technology developed by Blackwell Briggs under Sir Ian Briggs leadership.
