Meet the cast of First Day - the hot new web series from the creators and executive producers of Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars!
Starring:
Tracey Fairaway as "Cassie" - Pretty and clever, Cassie Mitchell should be turning heads and breaking hearts, but she can't seem to get out of her own way. A fresh start at a new school could be just the thing she needs to put her string of boyfriend-less years behind her. Now, if she can just execute a perfectly choreographed first day...
Elizabeth McLaughiln as "Sasha" - Cassie's yonger sister, Sasha, is confident, uber-organized, trendy, and a classic over-achiever. She seamlessly transitions into the popular crowd at their new school—but making it all look easy isn't as easy as it looks.
Jesse Kove as "Ryan" - There's a lot more to Canterbury High School's heartthrob than just his perfect looks. Ryan acts in all the school plays, he's the high scorer on the soccer team, he's really smart, and he even cares about animal rights. He's perfect boyfriend material. The kind of boy you daydream about in class...

So far Dan 3.0 has not produced any stunning outcomes but Dans visit with Danielle was certainly the highlight so far.

“The Dream Detective is a modern noir detective story, combining the suspense and anticipation of classical mystery with a sexy and stylish edge. A thread of the supernatural is woven throughout, tying the story together and lending an air of surrealism and fantasy.”

The Audience Ecosystem: Ensuring the Longevity of Transmedia Experiences
"By self-sustaining I mean that the audience is allowed (given the tools and permissions) to create its own entertainment – generating new content or assuming the roles originally assumed by the designers."

The Fine Brothers just wrote a very thoughtful and bang on blog in defense of the top earning Youtubers. Anyone who is a series creator, Youtube fan or even a casual viewer should read this one.

This should be a video of you sitting in front of the camera and describing an ARG as if you are trying to explain it to a friend who has just asked "What is an ARG?".

The chart indicates the total views per day on the BlackBoxTV channel from the time we started to track it.
With 2 episodes now out and 125,305 subscribers BlackBoxTV is off to a solid beginning. Episode 1 currently has 322,961 views and episode 2 currently has 243,551 views. The remaining views on the chart come from behind the scenes videos and commentary videos that nicely supplement the narrative video. This is quite respectable for a new web series which has incorporated famous Youtubers in their cast. This has allowed them to cleverly use social media to promote and market the show to a larger Youtube audience. Whether or not this strategy has legs or not remains to be seen but if it stays on its current trajectory the future could be bright for BlackBoxTV.

From the press release:
Miss Behave launched on both http://missbehave.tv and http://koldcast.tv on June 24, 2010. Since that time, the show has garnered nearly a quarter of a million views, received numerous accolades and continues to be a fan favorite amongst teen internet shows. Says creator Susan Bernhardt “We are so excited about the story evolving in Season Two; I'd like to think our show has grown since it's inception, and the characters have all developed so much.” She continues “We will have you laughing and crying in the same eight minutes of a Season Two episode.” Second season of Miss Behave will have a total of ten episodes, each of the first nine about eight minutes long, and an extended cliffhanger finale about 14 minutes in length. Look for Season Two of Miss Behave to launch late fall 2010, but first tune in for the Season One finale coming up on Thursday, September 2nd, 2010.
