  1. The size that fits the space is 560 x 340.

Aso if you do not tag your post with the "name of the show" and "web series" then it will not be listed in those categories..... which will make your videos MUCH harder to find in the future.

  2. Hi. Thanks so much for this info. I just checked the embed code from youtube and it says "width=560" "height=340" ; is this not the embed code i should be using? As far as the tags, are you talking about the tags from the Youtube post or is there a way to add tags while posting the videos here? THANKS!

  3. I corrected the size to 560x340. Youtube gives you a number of options and you have to select the appropriate one.

As for the tags you manually add them along the bottom of the post. It has autocomplete so if you begin to type it should complete it for you. If you look at the current post I added suggested tags for you in this an previous videos so that they will show up in those categories.

  4. A good rule of thumb with a web series/web show is that you have 3 minutes to entertain and engage your audience. If you spend 30 seconds on an intro then that is not always a good idea unless it adds enough value to justify the time expenditure. Then if you go over 3 min you are likely to loose at least part of your audience.

Now some people prefer long, but not everyone. So you need to ask yourself: how much of the audience can you afford to loose? Remember that once you loose someone they may never come back.

Now once your show has 500,000 viewers you can do what you want........clearly you know your audience and if they want a longer show then by all means do it. But when growing a show there are a lot more considerations.
