post-advertising marketplace?
ReplyDeleteWowza. Have you actually looked at what you are doing. It is insulting to the global audience on so many levels. You take old world techniques and shove them down the viewers throats. You use geoblocking (and spare me the lecture on why its needed......... it is an affront to the World Wide Web). You spam us with paid views/autoplay. You harass us with offensively long pre-rolls. So post-advertising marketplace? We think not.
Will there be a post-advertising marketplace? Let us hope so, but their will need to be a true revolution in the industry before that happens. So please someone, bring on the semantic web.
The next successful business model that includes geoblocking as the primary part of their business plan will be the first.
