  1. This is great for LA, London and the future NYC studio, but what about the rest of the USA and for that matter the rest of the World. From a biz perspective it is understandable why Google would invest in these existing hubs, but rather than empowering the entire World Wide Web it tends to prop up the status quo of the old ET-World.

  2. Youtube partners NOT based in LA need not apply.

  3. Clearly these facilities have limited resources. Who is running the studios and who will control access? Since it appears to be free, demand is likely to be extremely high. Does this create a "gatekeeper" system, or will it provide equal access for all?

  4. It's everything the bubble ever dreamed of. The power to break the Youtubers and free a-list calibre studios to make their vanity projects with.

    1. Google probably has a vested interest in certain types of productions. The question is: how much will that influence access to the Studios?

On the other hand whoever runs the Studios will have a huge amount of power. Will that power be handled "fairly", or will they play "favorites" when it comes to access to the Studios?

  5. Who is in charge of running the facility? A lot of $$$ is that place.
